i am preparing to file a cr1 for my foreign spouse but i do not have my birth certificate

Hello, I have looked at all the requirements that a petitioner needs to file for a cr1, and I have everything except for my birth certificate. I have my US passport and naturalization certificate, but my birth certificate is probably lost somewhere in the Philippines. My sister emailed me scanned copies. Is this good enough? If it isn't, do I have other options?

us passport copy of the bio data page will suffice although I included the bc also ;)

Nowhere does it ask for a birth certificate if you were not born in the U.S.

Your sister sent you scanned copies of the BC? If you can't find it, no big deal.

Clean legible copies is all you need at the uscis stage.

But a copy of passport biopage meets the requirement.

You can add a copy of the naturalization certificate.
