No, she heard correctly. You can also ask H&E (another VJer), as she was there in line with her and heard the same thing. Either they were giving false information that day, changed it prior to or before your appointment, or you just caught a break.

I'll tell you one thing and that is I've never seen anybody on here who came that late and got out the same day like you did.

I tell you when i had my vaccinations, We were at the 2nd floor before 7am, probably 6:30am. Then there was this lady (applicant) who took a yellow pad and let us sitting in the first row who came in first write our names. After we wrote or names, she just kept it . Then when one of the St. Luke's staff arrived, the woman gave the yellow pad to her. The staff announced to put our receipts on top of the counter and asked the woman what was that yellow paper about. The woman explained that it's the name of the people who came in first. Then the staff announced that it is not on a first come-first serve basis. She further add that those who came in first will not guarantee that they will finish first. Then she closed her announcement by saying not to be surprised if other people who came in late will go home first.. smile.pngsmile.png ..

Probably, because most of the VJ members advised others to go there as early as possible, so everybody here went to St. Luke's early. I, on the other hand on my Medical had to fly 5:10am from Cebu to Manila..

I don't know what to tell you then. They opened the doors and told everybody that the first ten in line will get to finish the medical that day. Mylen immediately texted me this announcement. And, yes, she got to go home that day.

You will be fine. I think u are for vaccination knowing they tell u to come back at 7:30am. If u are for sputum, they will tell u to come back 5:30am because u are not allowed to eat breakfast prior to collection.

I'll keep this in mind. Thanks for the tip! idea9dv.gif

If you come back the second day of a 2 day medical, and find out you have a sputum requirement, you start the next day. Just because you are asked to come back at the normal time does not mean you are off the hook.

They send everyone back whom they cannot read the X-rays for that morning or, like you say, the X-ray is positive for sputum. Usually they only get to around 10 X-rays of patients who are there on the first day and can therefore complete it in one day, sometimes not even that. So yes there is always a chance you are one of the positives, but more likely that they just couldn't get to reading your X-ray in time for the break.

Not saying it didn't happen that way with you guys, but when my fiancee did St. Lukes, she showed up at 0830, and was done by 1130. Obviously, she could not have been one of the first 10 that day, as many showed up at 0100-0400 (crazy, if you ask me). But she was in and out on the first day, then came back 2nd day for shots at whatever time they told her.

It's correct, it is not first-come, first-served on day 2. They give you an appointment time (at least they did 2 years ago).

I think I'm crazy, Dave! Haha. innocent.gif I got there at 2am. Obviously, I want to be #1 and I could only afford to take 1-day leave from work. Finished all the tests by 7:30am and was asked to come back at 1:30pm. because there was no doctor yet to review our Xray results. At that point, I still did't know if I'm good to have my vaccines or if I will have a sputum test. Fortunately, I was told to go to the immunization room for my vaccinations by 1pm and got my CD by 3pm. Actually, there were even some people who got their CDs before me who came at about 6am. They prioritize applicants with babies and the elderly. I realized that I didn't see the other K-1 applicants I met while waiting for the counters to open.

Hello Jade! How's your Medical Day 2? Hope everything's fine with you. smile.png

Hello,

I passed the exam. There were a lot of senior citizens and kids that day so we were asked to come back the next day. Even the first ,2nd person in line has to go back @8:30AM while i was told to go back an hour earlier.

It was really something scary, that was what i felt in heading to the SLEC on the second day while handing my receipt to the guard..

But, everything went good.... Hope it goes the same with the rest. thank you.
