Visa in hand now. Was actually ready for pickup on the 3rd day after the interview.

I'll go search/read Houston POE reviews but if someone has hints for me I'll love to hear it.

She had to use a Yoruba/English interpreter at the embassy so I'm not sure how that would work at POE and if they would have a Yoruba speaking staff there.

This is all too surreal.

Congratulations on your approval.... My hubby came through Houston and got red lane his first time. However it was no big deal they saw the 10 pounds of shea butter he was bringing me. They checked his documents and his bags and he moved on to his connection. You're savy so you know how she should pack. He also said stay off the phone in the customs hall and baggage claim... The are very picky about that there. Enjoy your flight and again Congrats....

She's cleared POE and has been set loose in America.

We pray for those getting denials. We were there once, keep working on it and the feeling I'm having now is indescribable.

Gowon Sir I am on the bus on way to work and read this and tears are welling up in my eyes.

I am just so thrilled for you and overjoyed I feel like I just POE.

God bless u both and enjoy and now u can breathe and rest.

Soo elated for you Gowon. Welcome to Cali Mrs. G. she arrived at the best time of the year. We are having a beautiful weather. LOL By the way, do go out and get her a sweater soon, last week hubby and I were in Altadena for the Greek Festival and you would think he lived in Alaska...LOL

Imagine if they lived in a colder climate?

We will have that celebration dinner soon. Welcome back and we are so happy for your outcome. It is an indescribable feeling when you finally are together and at home. May God be with those who are still in this VJ and I pray we can help them as we were helped in the process.

Wishing you and your wife all the best. Welcome home!

you n i have a similar case...its a walk through...piece of cake...ur already given...as long as u frontloaded very well...God is faithful...stay blessed

It is educated guess that she was pre-approved and the actual interview was a validation of what the CO already felt in the paperwork.

You're spot on.

This afternoon we were out and about and she constantly complained about how cold it was - lol

We'll be hitting Burlington Coat Factory first thing in the morning, She's sleeping under a blanket with the heater on now. Unbelievable. Good stuff.
