One Way Ticket

Fiance went to two travel agencies near his house and both did not allow to purchase 1 way ticket so he went to my province to see if there was a travel agency and he found one that allowed him to purchase a 1 way ticket for EVA air. got for 34k pesos ($700+) not bad.

I bought a one-way ticket from delta's website for my fiancée - she got her ticket from the delta counter 3 hours prior to the flight

I had to show my CC to a delta agent at my local airport

why did you have to show your CC if you were purchasing from a website?? a card is either valid or it isnt,,why would they want to see it in person?

We bought 1 way ticket 10 mons ago through Hawaiian Airlines (not sure if they still have flights from MNL now, they talked about disconnecting any flight early this year) and no issues at all

I can't tell you why the airlines choose to be so strict, just that some are. When I booked her a flight from home to Boracay, I had to send her a copy of my ID and CC front. And that was a domestic flight. There is no rhyme nor reason as to which ones do it when. When we booked her flight to here, we paid in php, cuz the travel agent gave a cash discount, and that way we avoided the whole CC/ID process.
