I cant understan what is the chart oall about?

it's about statistics of how many petitions each field office processed in Q1 of 2013 (and earlier for that matter), apparently. Q1 being Jan, Feb, Mar.

My husband filed an I-130 petition for me and was received by the USCIS last March 29 & they sent us an email that our case was routed to the National Benefits Center for processing. It would be our 6th month now & our case was not yet send to a local office which is in San Francisco. What do you think are the reasons? If our papers stayed at NBC would it be process there? We have no request for RFE our papers are all complete.

How do you know it wasn't sent to the field office? Did your husband do an infopass? I'm not sure that one can rely only on telephone calls to USCIS because at times they seem clueless.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

The USCIS will send an email or a notice that they are transferring the case to a local office. I just dunno how to make an appeal or request for them to transfer our case in a local office at San Francisco.=(

These charts mean nothing when was the last time you had a statistics class. The information means nothing you can make the number lie. Its fault information look at how many of us have been approved. That is the real statistics.

Not necessarily, from what i hear on VJ. Many people don't know their file has been transferred till they call the USCIS.

Can you guarantee that the data of people on VJ is representative for the whole system? I don't think you can. So both indices can be considered when analyzing the situation.

I'm the beneficiary.

I have called multiple times, and each time they say to wait the normal processing time for anything to happen. When I explain there is NO processing time posted anywhere for NBC, they act completely stupid about it, and tell me MAYBE it's LIKE 6 months. Not sure what kind of answer that is.

I also never received a hard copy of NOA1. When I told the woman on the phone about that, she said she would send me another copy since I never received the first... Back in March. So she issued another to be sent. Double checked the address, asked me other pointless information about me, when she had my case status open on her screen in front of her, and never not once, asked any info on my wife... It seemed odd. She said I would receive it in about 1-2 weeks. Here I am over a month later. I call in to question about this, even with my special ticket receipt number in hand for this NOA1 copy to be sent, the guy on the phone, asks me how he can help in a very rude manner, I explain to him as nicely as possible, and I was cut short by him sighing, and hanging up on me.

I'm not understanding how things like this can take so long... We have 2 friends that did the K-1 Visa route, and already approved, and sent to NVC... Me, and my WIFE are still waiting for anything past a damn NOA1 that we seem to not even receive. We even got a waiver for her 2YHRR from the Embassy. (Took 3 months). Everyone keeps asking us why we have not made progress... It's very frustrating. My wife is very upset, and angry, and me... I'm at the point I want to go to the nearest office, and just start a verbal riot on the first person that asks me how they can help me.

We are in the same boat when it comes to this process. I have called multiple times to the NBC regarding a case update, only to be met with what is seemingly ignorance.

We sent out 5 emails to different senators and hoping they will find time to answer that email. To those people who already sent out the letter to there senators, did you snail mailed it or you just emailed it to them?

When I explain there is NO processing time posted anywhere for NBC, .

this is correct due to the shift from last year

this will all be fixed with the new facility unfortunately many folks will be left in the dead zone at local offices

it takes several calls layered with oodles of honey and sweetness to get the right IO on the phone to find your petition

at my infopass it must have been a dozen screens in to see it

speak with 5 people at uscis .. when you get the same answer twice, that is the correct one .. usually :(

Oh thank u for explaining. Im so strees because i cant see my status inline and my husband called many times the last time said soon how soon is that ?and it will be 7 mos on oct 4

as you know.. there are many of us that never saw our status online :(

sorry you guys are still stuck there in SF.. stupid office slowed way down

Did you email the whole state senator or your local senate representative? What we did was emailed the 2 whole state senator and 3 local senate representative on their respective websites. I know that's crazy but we need some help dealing with USCIS and I hope they will be able to noticed it too.

I used email it took a month before they responded.

seriously, you can just call them, tell them you want them to inquire about your file and they will send you a release form by email that you can sign and scan or fax back. Then they can contact the USCIS by email. It is very easy. Writing letters is alot of work. My first inquiry took less than a week for an answer and the second one took less than 3 days. If you are working with one congressional office, they will tell you that making more than one inquiry ( with more than one office) will slow your file down.... That was told to me by the second congressional office I contacted. So, I am waiting until October for mynext inquiry. She told me they are told not to make multiple inquiries for cases.

The senators are only a middleman.... They really can't get any more info than you get by talking to tier 2. Read through some of the threads... People posted their response letters. First time I was told that my file is pending at the MSC and processing times are 12 months, second time I was told processing times are 6 months from the date of the response.. It is just a rewording game.
