Just got email saying my case got approved.

"On December 18, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Thank you all for giving me info and helps. I really appreciate that. I also pray for everyone who still waiting will get approved soon. I do think our march people who were transferred around Nov 6 to NSC will all get process before Jan 6.

I don't know if putting in service request help. I never get anything from the mail. But that last one just happened right before they updated my status to "address change". That makes me think NSC have people check request all day long, unlike NBC. However it maybe just happen they are processing my case at that time. I have telling tier 2 agents put service request for me 3 times since SEP. I also use that as my excuse for bypass tier 1 agents. I just say "A tier 2 agent put in a service request for me 30 days ago. He say if I don't get any update call back. Can you transfer me to a tier 2 agent and see what's going on?" No need to ask them questions, you all know tier 1 don't know anything. If you ask, they just going to give u stupid answer then you get mad.

Congrats !! You waited a very long time. I am happy for you !

Thank you. Yes very long time. I have seen my wife cry so many times when she feels hopeless; and I have been lying to her every time saying "It's going to be ok. This month we will get approved" since August. Finally I don't need to lie anymore.

Well, I have a DREAM they can ACT on ...

Why transfer cases to a service center that can't deliver? I believe I read that the December filers are getting sent to the service centers, not NBC. How nice that they get sent there right off the bat. I swear I will lose it if I start seeing approvals from the recent filers.... I already restricted myself from the threads after May. I can't watch anymore

LoveMyTico, USCIS started sending petitions directly to the service centers sometime at the end of October... I think it was right after the workload shift announcement.

Fingers crossed for all of you, Marchies!

CONGRATULATIONS! I know exactly how she felt; we too felt so hopeless. And every month we'd say "Maybe this is the month, maybe later this month..." and were so let down when we didn't hear anything. But it WILL happen, for you folks who are waiting, it's going to happen. My heart goes out to you and I keep hoping every day for you.

Was your Officer really hard to understand? Mine was. I didn't even get his officer # because I couldn't, for the life of me, understand what he said at that point. He also interrupted me constantly

Yeah. Sounds like the same guy.

Ugh, the numbers for Nebraska are just pathetic. Texas is also sad. Working diligently my butt. These numbers prove that their statements in their letter to the stakeholders was a load of bull.

I almost cried when I looked at those TSC numbers. #######.

My guess is that they're gaming the numbers again -- if they're adjudicating petitions from March and they do some from July to balance it out, they land nicely around the 7 month processing average they're claiming.

Well, usually they update the processing times at the same time that they update their dashboard, and they didn't do that this month, either. So the question, then, is do we draft a quick letter and send it directly to the Ombudsman? I know I posted the charts all over my FB page, and after hearing the response from that tier 2 agent, a bunch of my friend and family are pissed off. Seeing those numbers only makes them more angry. They're asking me how they can help and who they can contact. :)

Oh, I've got something funny for you to read, btw. It's where the USCIS says that they have a "first in, first out" policy, but those pesky RFE's screw it up and make it seem like they're processing out of turn. And sometimes it's just not possible to process things in turn, because: REASONS. Gotta find out where I read it.

Agreed, it's unusual for them not to update the numbers on the same day. There's often a lag of several hours as they get all the data up, but for nothing to have happened by today is strange, possibly suspicious. I'll probably check those pages about 30 times today. And speaking of USCIS not posting information in a timely manner, the Oct 31 NBC-AILA meeting notes are still nowhere to be found. No response to my email inquiry asking when they'll be published, either.

I found something similar once in the Adjudicator’s Field Manual when I was searching for ANY ounce of logic that might be guiding these people. They list out a few factors that may cause them to process cases out of order... it was a total load.

Edit: This right here. First item talks about statutory requirements that mandate processing for certain visa types with specified timeframes. Sure would be nice if they'd pass one for spousal filers!
