Philippines has a 3 parts.. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao... i'm in part of Luzon. the typhoon hayan hit Visayas region.so i don't think we are qualified for expedite. :(

Yeah, he's gotta speak to a Tier 2. And ask if there is any relief available to you because you're from the Philippines. Like I said, I don't know if it would work, but it's worth a shot.

Hmm im not sure if theyre really looking at the location coz one member here got their case expedited and approved even if the beneficiary lives jn Manila (Luzon). Try to call again and follow up your request. God bless! :)

11.18.2013 - requested expedite due to typhoon

12.02.2013 - CFO seminar

12.12.2013 - I-130 approved, NOA2 via email (never transferred); shipped to NVC

12.30.2013 - NVC received the case

01.06.2014 - requested expedite due to typhoon and PCS

01.08.2014 - Case # and IIN; submitted DS-261; NVC asked for 2 contact #s of beneficiary

01.09.2014 - AOS fee billed

That's what I thought I was seeing. To me it looks like anyone from the Philippines was getting their case pushed to the front of the line, regardless of whether or not they were directly impacted by the typhoon.

Maybe we can just chalk it up to most Americans being really bad at geography. :P

I am so upset right now! no hate but how come someone can get an.approval in.less than a month when I beeen waiting for 9 months already to get approved this is the second christmas i missed and is killing us emotionally and physicly my husband just left again he came to visit for 11 days now I am more deppresed cant believe we got tranferred a month ago and still not news and all I can see is approvals from May and I that applied on March still nothin.sad.png

Whats up with the MAY APPROVALS??? This process is sooooo messed up...

The processors were probably told to do all Philippine files. Some processors go and search for all those files ( as it is a good time killer to search for files) and some processors are just grabbing boxes and processing whatever they have in front of them... The May boxes are probably the closest to the door so that's what they grab.

Its very difficult to see the May files getting approved while March and April are still hanging out to dry.... #######?

We just have to face the fact anyone who applied in March we are screwed. We all got put in the closet. We had a triple bad luck. The Dream act all the illegals get priority, government shut down and the Philippines. Screw the people who follow the law put them last. Marry Christmas

Receipt date was march 19th we received a transfer notice on November 6th to the Nebraska service center.. Still waiting and hoping for an approval :(

Receipt date was march 19th we received a transfer notice on November 6th to the Nebraska service center.. Still waiting and hoping for an approval :(
