Ok my wife had a immigration interview at ciudad juarez july 31 st 2013 the officer told my wife if she had been in the US we she answerd NO then the officer told her that if she ever enterd illegally she answer YES the officer told her she needed a I 212 for Iillegal entry so after the interview we filled 212 and we payed 585 money order and send it to phoenix lockbox and today is september 11 and I havent receive no recipt or nothing I tried calling USCIS they told me to wait 30 days and I havent recive nothing wat should I do

My wife had her interview july 31st the told hwr she needed a waiver 212 and the hardship letter the officer told her it would take bout 3-5 months question is HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE TO BE APPROVED ? DO SHE NEED TO GO AGAIN TO CIUDAD JUAREZ FOR ANOTHER INTERVIEW ?

The I-601 waiver is processed at the NSC. Posted at 4 months but I was told just today that they are taking 6-8 months. I don't know where the I-212 is processed.

Check out the threads for the waivers... maybe someone who just experienced it can chime in for you
