Documents needed for change from temporary greencard to permanent greencard

Hello together,

I have friends who wanna file for AOS. She is original from Colombia but is living here for a long time already on a temporary greencard which she always renewed. Now where they are married for over a year they wanna file for a permanent greencard for her. Which documents do they need to file?

You cannot renew a temporary greencard, and you cannot live for years on one, so what's what?

AOS is to get a greencard and become a permanent resident.

Ok sorry for the confusion. I asked her and she said it is something like a temporary resident card which you I think have to renew every two years. or do you call it conditional green card

I will ask her for more details that might will help more

When you apply for adjustment of status and have been married less than 2 years, then you receive a green card that expires in 2 years. It is not a temporary green card. It just conditional in that you need to file to remove the conditions before it expires. When you have been approved for removal of conditions, then you receive a green card that is good for 10 years instead of 2. Both are are permanent resident cards.
