My fiance' and I already sent the I-129f package yesterday and today I found out that, Thailand does not accept co-sponsor 99% for the I-134 (Affidavit of support).

The thing is we have already started the process. What should we do so that the Embassy might accept a co-sponsor? My fiance' does have a job of 3 years and his annual income is only about 12000$ but he is required to earn 1,9397$ for my K1 visa to get approved... So, a close friend (his boss) will be our co-sponsor. Everything went down the drain when I heard that they hardly ever accepts co-sponsors in Thailand. Anyone went through the same situation or is there any advice from experienced VJ members?

Hi Linda,

Have you talked to Ni-ing&Ice? If I am not mistakenly remember, she did use co-sponsor for her then-fiance. Don't give up quickly!

If you need another advise, you can contact this one. Her then-fiance was a beneficiary from Thailand. She's on my friends list.

I am Ning . The other person she is talking about is the V J member as she named them ( Ni-ing& Ice). When you contact that person ask her who helped her thru the process. Nicollet and Ice are now married and living in the USA.

Its critical that there is no confusion here about this difficult subject.

Have you ever thought about the quotes you include from Sun Tzu? Tactics without strategy? Isnt that exactly what you have done here by advising the OP as you did?

Please stop putting out this advise as though it were correct or even applied to her situation. You have helped her or rather the USC file a case with no thought to the most important aspect . Support for example.

What exactly do you think she should now about the problem of support? Should they have paid the fees and filed the case with no knowledge of the end result? Go back and read what you said.

Then read again her post about the reality of the present situation.

Tactics without strategy? Please.
