What does this mean ?? Case transferred to local office

Looking it was the I-129F. So once the I-129F reaches the NVC they'll assign a case number and then shuttle it off to the embassy/consulate. From there I think you proceed relatively like a K1 case... But as it's been quite a while since anyone has gotten this far, I cannot be sure. Congrats btw!

Also please check your timeline so that it reflects the correct embassy or consulate (it says Armenia right now.)

I have got approved I-129F of visa K3 on September 26th 2013 (The aprobation tooks 27 days after NOA1)... Someone knows how long will NVC to send it to my local embassy? Thanks :)

It takes up to 8 weeks to get sent to the NVC and then 1-2 weeks normally to the embassy.

the I-129F was approved ... havnt heard anything in regards to the I-130

what was approved? the I-129F or the I-130? (or both?)

oops sorry I didnt see that this thread continued on the next page .. sorry .. .thanks so much for your feedback... why has it been so long since anyone has gotten this far ?

because of the slow down with the I-130s atm. Normally they're put together and adjudicated together and sent together and then the I-129F is closed at the NVC.

Do they usually notify you if your case was put together ?

Nope. That's their policy so it would not get a notification.

I just got a letter stating that my file has been trasnferred to the Nebraska Office. It took almost 8 months since I got my NOA-1. I filed the I-130 and I-129f or K3.
