doesn't it make your head spin to be on so many forums? One is enough for me.

Even if OP starts processing, you are just at a month and a half... You should still expect a 6 month wait....

I get exhausted just following your posts..... ( and I'm not trying to be B!tchy... incase I am coming off like that)

Well, sorry about that. I certainly do not mean to make anyone feel that way.

I'm only on this one, really. Just when I'm bored I may show up on another. I registered there only to post our letter and spread the word.

don't apologize.... no need to explain...

maybe you are over thinking all of this... to me, there is no rhyme or reason for anything that happens at the USCIS. I can't change their process. My lawyer told me to just sit tight, they will do their job, and that no letters or phone calls will make them move faster.

I used to stress at the beginning.. Now, I just hang out and read the threads here on VJ and look up my case numbers on my phone app. It is very hard to be here without my husband. I have some real bad days. Yesterday was one of them. My poor husband doesn't know what to say to me. We are married, we aren't supposed to "visit" we are supposed to be together.

Well, maybe I am over thinking all this. But this is just what I do. It's my specialty to over think things. Ask my husband :P

Also, it takes my mind off of other things and ... I'm so lonely- it just helps, somehow.

Maybe I will, one day, stop stressing and relax, like you. I am still at the beginning so for now I need to do what i think is best for me.

You made me cry, a bit, btw. (PMSing, so no worries, haha).

My poor husband doesn't know what to say to me anymore either.

Blueberry..so since we're september that means ours are still in overland..? Sigh. I hope uscis peeps experience whats it like to be in our shoes.

Yes, I hope the same. It would nice if they could understand what they put people through.

I'm assuming they're still there.

We don't even know if that workload shift with include us as well? or just NBC/Missouri? I'm guessing it's the latter.

Yeah, but that's assuming our petitions are even at OP. A lot of people were saying that even though the NOA1 says OP, it has a case number of MSC, meaning our petitions might be at Lee's Summit and not at OP. If that makes any sense. Have you heard this as well? What do you think?

We are married, we aren't supposed to "visit" we are supposed to be together.

A better point I haven't read on the forums in a while. Very well said.

Isn't it kind of odd how they want us to provide evidence of a "bona fide marital union", yet the one thing that a married couple can do to prove they're in a "bona fide marital union", live with each other, is not allowed? How does that make any sense? So they expect us to be in a "bona fide marital union", but you don't let us prove that union by being a normal couple and doing what normal couples do, live with each other??? Huh? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here! Am I the only one that sees the complete illogic in this requirement?

So all our husbands don't know what to say to us anymore. Hah.. :):(

Lol yeah, sometimes i wish i am as strong and patient as my husband..i just dont like to wait (esp on this one, nobody wants to be separated from their spouse for a very long time) and to think that this MIGHT take a year drives me crazy! :(

They should change it to 'bona fide long distance marital union'.. U'r not alone. Not only do they not let us live with each other, but also dont allow everyone to have a chance to come visit for a short time. They cant even grant a tourist visa while a petition is pending. Smh.

Very well said. I agree. It's so dumb. I'm convinced they don't want law abiding, tax paying U.S. citizens to bring their spouses here and design the entire process to break couples apart.

Thanks, Jen! Hope it will work! smile.png

We are about to send our Committee's Letter to Pres. Obama and others. And USCIS started transferring files to service centers. So.. there is hope smile.png

Fly through the NVC, girl! we'll need your help when we get there smile.png

Blueberry, I'm glad you guys are doing that...even just to make the point! I hope do fly through NVC! I will be able to help you when your time comes...which WILL be soon. I am DECLARING that!!!! goofy.gif

Congrats!!

Thank you Samni! Good luck to you too!!!!

congrats jen smile.png

Thanks Luv!!! heart.gif

In case you guys haven't stumbled upon this yet...

It seems that they are finally taking some actions. As of 10/21 they began transferring I-130 files from NBC to other service centers because of the workload.

Hopefully we can see some approvals soon! ...

YAY! Thanks for sharing! AWESOME NEWS for a lot of my friends on here!!!!

Oh. My. Gosh. Some people are just on my last nerve today!

There is this one girl on another forum who filed in June and just recently got approved. I keep asking her to check her NOA1, if it came from OP, but she seems confused what I'm talking about. Ugh.

Also, yet another forum, I keep getting f'ing yelled at. For daring (sic!) to say there is a backlog and local offices suck. Really?! Gosh. Not going there anymore. If they want to be in denial, so be it. I will sniff for more info about OP and other things somewhere else. Whatever.

And, if I hear one more time, that VJ sucks, I will scream. At least we have super nice people here! smile.png

Blueberry, I'm so sorry. I've encountered a couple of nasties, but mostly nice people on here. You don't deserve that! Maybe the person just doesn't speak enough English to understand you or something. Just put it down to ignorance...it will make you feel better at least!!! star_smile.gif

Well, sorry about that. I certainly do not mean to make anyone feel that way.

I'm only on this one, really. Just when I'm bored I may show up on another. I registered there only to post our letter and spread the word.

You rock!!! I enjoy your posts....don't stop them! halloween.gif

Yes! both super yummy smile.png

I don't complain to my husband about USCIS. Well, it does come up, of course tongue.png

Of course our time will come!

So all our husbands don't know what to say to us anymore. Hah.. smile.pngsad.png

Blueberry, I complain to mine every day about it. LOL! Poor guy. girlwerewolf2xn.gif <=== Me since this process began. LOL!

Yes, I hope the same. It would nice if they could understand what they put people through.

Yeah, but that's assuming our petitions are even at OP. A lot of people were saying that even though the NOA1 says OP, it has a case number of MSC, meaning our petitions might be at Lee's Summit and not at OP. If that makes any sense. Have you heard this as well? What do you think?

A better point I haven't read on the forums in a while. Very well said.

Isn't it kind of odd how they want us to provide evidence of a "bona fide marital union", yet the one thing that a married couple can do to prove they're in a "bona fide marital union", live with each other, is not allowed? How does that make any sense? So they expect us to be in a "bona fide marital union", but you don't let us prove that union by being a normal couple and doing what normal couples do, live with each other??? Huh? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here! Am I the only one that sees the complete illogic in this requirement?

That's true. They asked for a lot of "proof" that we can not provide. Like...joint bank accounts. We tried to start one on the phone and were told that they can't do it for several reasons, one being that we needed to "appear in the bank together." SERIOUSLY!!!! OYE OYE OYE!

APPROVED 2/13/2014! dancin5hr.gif Day before heart.gif day. rose.gif

I've heard of this. And when you think about it? it is possible. We won't know until we see a first approval from there...

However, the girl I mentioned above confirmed her file was initially sent to Overland Park. She hasn't gotten her NOA2 hard copy yet, though.

Blueberry, I'm glad you guys are doing that...even just to make the point! I hope do fly through NVC! I will be able to help you when your time comes...which WILL be soon. I am DECLARING that!!!! goofy.gif

Thank you Samni! Good luck to you too!!!!

Thanks Luv!!! heart.gif

YAY! Thanks for sharing! AWESOME NEWS for a lot of my friends on here!!!!

Thanks, Jen :) :) :) You're a sweetheart. rose.gif

Like I said above, she confirmed it went to Overland Park. I am not sure whether I should believe it or not.. so didn't get excited about it.

Yes, VJers are definitely mostly nice! peeps on other forums? not so much. I try not to take it personally, of course, for I don't care about them being in denial.

Haha, well, I complain to my husband too but mostly about other things. We do discuss USCIS of course and how messed up and inefficient the US gov is. Ugh. It's still better than the government here in Poland. Talk about stupidity..

My petition was 218 pages. They wanted evidence we couldn't provide, at the time,, so we substituted it with other #######, and doubled it :P

We tried to add me to his bank account as a beneficiary but this was a lot of work and would be super expensive. So, nah. No thank you.

We already have the evidence of financial co-mingling, so we will submit it to NVC when the time comes.

I think I will need a wheelbarrow for all this paper when I go to my interview rofl.gif
