I added a form for people to fill out if they want added to the spreadsheet! Jay&Tim, I got you added in so you don't have to send in the form

It's not taking 8 weeks for them to receive it, it's taking about 8 weeks to get a case number from the date they receive it. Every time I call the number is busy (I guess I need to set my alarm for early in the morning)!

Huh??? Are you sure about that? 8 weeks from the date they receive it? I looked at the NVC spreadsheet and it appears to be taking about 4-5 weeks for a case number.

If it really is taking 8 weeks that would suck.

That's what their customer service will tell you. NVC was backlogged, but I guess they're getting better. 4-5 is better than 8 for sure!

Hey! I am trying to be positive and proactive in getting my tax returns for the I-864. Does anyone know if I need to have them mailed to NVC (when the time comes) or can I download them and print them myself? Also, do I need the tax return or the tax account? Thanks for the help!!

I have heard that.... they call it 'additional security clearance' or something. I'm not sure if it's that site, though. P.S. do you know what service center your petition was sent to?

bdrew612, I don't know what service center yet. I have called several times and was never transferred to a tier 2 rep. I am so frustrated and dying to know where.

I also just found on my NOA1 that my PD is 12th of Sept not 16th.

You never received a hard copy? I recommend calling again and just asking to be transferred to a Tier 2. If the agent asks why, say you have specific questions about your case and you need to speak with a Tier 2.

Good morning everyone,

It is my pleasure to annnounce we have been approved. Today, March 19 at 9.05 AM Texas Time, I received the notification from USCIS stating my I-130 petition has been approved.

The petition was transferred to NEBRASKA on 2/24.

Thank you for your support and updates.

I came to know that my case reached to NVC today.But the information has not been uploaded yet.

Hello....I read how we should be calling the centers and nvc etc but im confused as to why. Will they have more information that what our status update shows? will it help expedite our case? what sort of questions should I be asking?

what is a service request? what do I ask? im sorry with all these questions....is there a forum where I can learn what it all means?

You haven't been approved yet, so you don't need to call NVC. I recommend looking through the Guides on this site (found at the top of the page), that might answer some of your questions.

If you're outside of processing times, you can contact USCIS to put in a service request to find out why your petition hasn't been approved yet. Some say wait 30 days first, and some say until after your transfer has gpne past 60 days without decision.

Just a heads up to whoever manages the spreadsheet: the percentage approved is stuck at %14.08. There doesn't seem to be a formula in the cell, just "%14.08".

What's going on at Texas. I haven't seen any approvals in August or September for a couple of weeks. Have they gone to sleep??
