Ok so they ask about convicts nd crimes. Page 5 question 2

I have never been convicted of any of the crimes they listed..... However when I was 18 I stole some items from walmart and was arrested. Should I let them know of this???

Shoplifting is a crime of Moral turpitude so yes list it. Get any court records you will need them.

I have no worries. But they simply do NOT ask about theft. I spoke with the district attorney of my area and showed him..... His words were "they mention nothing of theft,why give them information they are not stating to ask"

as i understand the OP the arrest was a conviction

either way... looking for a loophole here and getting caught trying to slide one by is not at all worth the consequences

Yes sorry for that question you can mark no, I wasn't sure what form you were talking about. But when you get to the DS230 that is when you will mark yes. Again sorry for mixing the two forms up.

My fiance was arrested last 2007 bcoz he was beyond child support but he paid it all and case was dismissed. However, he didn't mention it in his 129f form. USCIS did background check and found out about it but still USCIS approved his petition. As long as u r not fraudulent, ur not a threat to national security and u have a clean record after that, i guess there's no reason 4 u to get denied.
