Hello everyone!

My fiancee and I send in our I-129F at the end of July and we got the NOA1 on August 2nd.

Today I checked the Status on the USCIS webside and it said that -an RFE was send on August 30th, but no Mail or message.

To add a bit more Background: I am a german citizen, working in Hong Kong and will leave there by June next year.

My questions now:

- Do I have to be worried that the RFE came so fast?

- What could I possibly expect?

We did try everything to make the package as clear as possible when I came to evidence etc.

I visited her 6 times in LA already and she came to HK three times, so now I am really worried about it.

I would thank you so much for any help or adivce!!! :)

Greetings, Michael

Hi! Been to the same situation here. Sent our 129f last july 29th, and receive an rfe last aug.23 via notification online. Then receive it thru snail mail last aug.28.

Rfe they sent me was about the letter of intent to marry. They must've misplaced or lost it. But we sent a complete packet as far as we know.

I already sent the document to my fiance and forward it to CSC this week. Hopefully we get a response within this month.

So dont worry about it too much. It could be a sign that ours will get approve soon! Everything will be fine.

Like the previous comments, I would say that you don't need to worry. Wait to see what it is about and send it ASAP. But, this doesn't always mean you will get your approval soon after you send it. We got a RFE right after we sent the petition but we had to wait a few months to get NOA2. (See my timeline).

Good Luck!
