I'm not familiar with Mac's only that some things just aren't compatible. Have you tried from visapro.com as well? Have you tried just opening the form online, completing and printing out....rather then saving it to your computer first? If this all fails, you may just have to complete the forms by hand.

Thanks, aussiewench, I found the problem. The I-130 is not a "fillable form."

You may wish to revise the Guide, which says "The above forms can be filled out on your computer and printed." http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=k3guide

It might also be worth updating the example I-130 to something more current than 2002, which gives the impression that the PDF is fillable.

The only K-3 fillable forms are I-129f and G-325a.

My source is a government chart with icons for fillable PDFs. http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/index.htm#chart

ummmmmmm you were trying to use the example form in the K-3 guide which is an old form.....not the actual links for the I-130 which are linked directly to the USCIS site with the most up to date. The example forms are not meant to be used. Glad you sorted it out.

Doh.......I knew that lol I had a brain fart. Use the link scy posted for a fillable I-130

I believe this is only possible if you have the actual Adobe 7.0 Acrobat software with all the bells and whistles. I have it at work and I can do it, but at home I just have the standard reader (freebie) and I cannot do it on the one at home.

If you Acrobat Professional you can edit the form fields and change font size and form size. I did that with some of my forms.

Finding fillable I-forms is difficult at times; however, I get most of mine from this website: Fillable forms

They have every immigration form I've ever needed. Not always perfect but they work fine.

I would be extremely careful when using the forms from here to make sure the forms are the current version. The first one I opened was outdated.

From above site Form I-130 (Rev. 06/05/02)

From uscis site Form I-130 (Rev. 10/26/05) OMB #1615-0012; Expires 01/31/07

Yeah, that was something I really failed to include huh? One thing you can do is convert current forms to fiallable using one of the site's features. I've done it before but don't really remember how.

Possibly much easier to use the forms from visapro.com which are all fillable and the correct versions, if one has a problem with the USCIS forms as has been happening a lot since the new versions were added. Also as noted....the I-130 on USCIS is one of the few forms not available as fillable

Cheers

Hi all

This is in regards to the G-325A form. I am trying to fill it on and print it out but can only type in the information on the first page and cant' put in any information on pages 2, 3 and 4. Is this a common problem? I do have the latest acrobat program.

Thanks to anyone who can help me with this. :luv:

i think you download this form

http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/g-325a.htm

and then you just fill in first page and the rest of the pages fill out by themselves.

And i dont know why they cant just make the forms so you can save them. All they have to do is fix the rights on the documents. I believe the IRS has majority of forms which you can save. Like common forms that you use to report income. 1090, etc. you can save them and print them later.
