They have to have at least 2-3 people that can give us an answer. I understand they are still trying to get organized with all the flooding from last week but I just dont get how those non-immigrant applicants have more priorith. I'm sure those applicants have also missed their interviewe from last week and Monday's closing but somehow they are allowed to walk-in just like that. Why give priority to those who might not even come back to the Philippines?

Thanks Hank! When I logged into the appoinment schedule online it said earliest date available was Sept 10. If we have to wait til Sept 10 and then something unexpected happens again due to weather conditions or whatever its is... then were just gonna keep getting delayed You really never know what will happen in the Philippines. haha. Can we protest too in front of the Embassy? Lol. I am just upset that they put misleading information on the website.

1. They tell people it is closed and they are not doing any interviews but those people who didnt read gets interviewed. Shouldnt they be told to come back and wait to be rescheduled like the rest of us? 2. They tell people to check back Monday afternoon and we all check the website and no update on instructions of rescheduling.

Yes those people that didnt get the notice of USEM being closed they were interviewed yesterday Aug 26. My fiance was gonna go but I told him it was closed and I didnt want him to go and have to be sent back like last Tuesday due to the flood when they didnt make an announcement.

I am not belittling your frustration... I do understand how all the waiting.. and waiting.. and waiting can get to a person.

Each CO is allocated 3 minutes to do the interview, then they complete your file pass it to the last window, grab the next file get it pulled up on the computer and call NEXT!!

I was there, I saw the lines, heck I was part of the line and that was just for the 6:30 appts, more people show up, more lines... until its closing time. And that doesn't even count their behind the scenes work where they have to review all the files from the day, flag items when missed during the interview and so on....

Very thankless job .... and yup that is my opinion.

Interesting, so they were open today after all? How did you find out they were interviewed. Did someone on VJ get interviewed? I know vazpayne was going to today.

Don't worry I totally get you Hank as you've gone throuh this before any of us and experienced it. It just sucks that they tell people its is closed and not doing any interviews but they are allowing people in yesterday. I guess the lesson learned is take a chance and just go if they make any announcement about closings huh.. doesnt hurt to try.

Actually Leon & Mylene vazpayne didnt get interviewed yet. She didnt go yesterday Aug 26 since USEM was closed but.she will be taking a chance of going to the interview today (Aug 27) to see if they let her walk-in.

Oh okay, sorry I read that wrong. I thought you were saying she messaged you and said she went in on the 26th and got approved. Who went in on the 26th?
