Hi, you guys. My husband's interview is scheduled for this week in Islamabad and he just saw on the news that all U.S Embassy's are going to be closed due

to some Elections?? Is this true? I'm just very upset because we got so close, and his interview date is just this week and now all of a sudden these elections come out of nowhere

and the embassy will be closed? So what will happen to his interview? will it get delayed or what. I don't know what's going on and I'm just really super stressed. He called the embassy

and they themselves said they weren't sure of whether they were making the Election a Public Holiday or not and closing the embassy. Like, how could they not know? They are the embassy.

I'm so upset right now.... :\

What all should we bring to the interview? Any cash? All I know is to take picture evidence and nikahnama and copy of bc(they have the original) and 2 passport size photos and the passport... In the letter it states to bring police certificate if it has been over a year.. It hasn't even over a year but should we make another one anyway?
