interview approved, they take my passport too but it's shows AP

I had my interview on the 8th of august and the lady told me I was approved and she will issue the visa. she took my passport too. now when I check the CEAC site it says administrative processing , is this normal ? or am in trouble ? am really devastated right now , its been a long journey and I thought I finally finished it.

For the Scriptures tell us that no one who believes in Christ will ever be disappointed.

it's not the 8th but the 13th of august and they updated it to AP on the 16th of august

My fiance was the same. In AP after the interview and today it says "Issued". They told him to pick up his visa on Tuesday. Dont worry. I think yours is probally updated also.

thank you both, I just got my visa today from the embassy . they didn't tell me but my fiancé went there just to ask why it say AP, they told him they needed my birth certificate copy and that is why they were holding my visa.
