Signature on G-325A

There seems to be a lot of debate on whether you need to have your spouse sign the form before sending to USCIS. I am filing I 130. I got my wife to sign before I left the Philippines and only now before sending realized that in the box at the bottom of 325 spelled her first name wrong!! So I have heard different viewpoints on this. Need to have her orig signature don't need to. I have seen a directive saying it doesn't have to be signed until she appears for her interview at the embassy. I guess I could send it like it is and realize I may get an RFE. Worst case in that I guess is it sets us back a few weeks. Any opinions?

Thanks

The DS-230 form is the one she needs to sign, just the first part, not the last part, that's done at interview. The DS-230 form comes at the NVC stage.

Yes the beneficiary should sign their own completed G-325a. It should be their original signature.

You can take a chance from having it not signed, yes. Or spend money on a courier service. Yes those are your options. :)
