I plan on wearing a pair of nice jeans, a classy top and a blazer over it. Definitely flats. Ill be nervous enough and don't wanna worry about tripping lol

A little makeup, like my everyday thing but no club face full of color ;)

Hmm, i love jeans, but i'm not sure if people at the embassy in my country won't raise their eyebrows if i wear it, lol. And yeah to flats ;)

I wore red linen blouse, black pants, black wedge shoes.

Umm, i love wedges too :)

I wore a long summer dress and flat sandals because it was about a thousand degrees in London that week.

Due to the heat and the number of student visas being processed, I saw a number of younger girls in outfits I would normally expect to see in a dingy seaside night club. It's lucky London doesn't give a monkey's what you wear.

I think as long as you are comfortable with what you wear you will suggest confidence to the people around you and I think that's most important on a day like that.

It's not the right time to play dress up and feel uncomfortable. As long as your not coming in the sweatpants with the hole in the crotch (we all have those) you'll be ok :)

I wore smart, black jeans and a casual top that I wore to my medical (I also wore it when I went to my 2nd try for a walk-in biometric appointment - the 1st time, I was unsuccessful wearing a different top (Chicago Cubs). The 2nd time, I remember thinking 'Hmm. Should I wear my 'lucky' top?' And I was successful.)

I wore my red sequined Converse sneakers. I wore my glasses as they are on my passport photo and the photos I gave the embassy. I didn't wear my glasses when I got married smile.png

I think this has actually been discussed here many times already (seems lots of people are worried about what to wear) smile.png I wore dressy black pants and a warm Norwegian pullover (my interview was in November), tidy looking flat shoes, and I kept my glasses on. Very very little make-up. In many consulates you will be standing at a window, so the CO will only see your upper part anyway. Just dress in a tidy way, but so that you feel comfortable. Don't overthink this whole process.

Oh well, i wasn't here last year, been here for few months and too lazy to search the previous thread like this and wondering to myself why i still don't get the nerve, no worries a bit and haven't overthink about this whole process so I decided to get myself busy by choosing the attire, lol :D

But what you wore sounds comfortable ;)

Of all the things I've worried about , what to wear for the interview has figured pretty low. I'm not going to wear a suit but it is the US Embassy so I'll show some respect and wear work-smart casual I suspect. Make-up and footwear decisions will not be taxing rofl.gif
