Hello all. Haven't posted in a while on here. I filed my petition on Aug 2, 2013, and got my NOA on Aug 6, 2013. The I-130 was approved on Dec 12, 2013 after we put in an expedite request, and my Senator's office also asked for an expedite. The NVC received the paperwork from USCIS on Jan 12, 2014, and new expedite requests were put in with the NVC from both me and my Senator's office. When I called today, to get the State Department case numbers, I was told that the Embassy in Manila was notified of the expedite today, and I should be receiving instructions from them in the next few days. Hoping we have an interview date soon. Just want to inform you all of what is happening with my timeline, so you can all have some hope that things are progressing and moving forward. I know how hard it is for everyone, and wish you all a quick process and reunion with your loved ones.

Hi! I'm slightly confused on how this works for example our case is MSC 139170XXXX we filed 8/19, does this mean we can expect a transfer soon??? Then after its transferred how long do we wait until we here if we're approved or not, or will the transfer letter say we're approved and transferred. Sorry I'm just having anxiety I guess lol!

I have added you to the transfer sheet for august.

When you transfer (which will be soon), you will receive three emails and three texts.

A couple of days after the third email - you will receive a letter indicating where the petition was transferred to for processing/adjudication.

Once its transferred (California, Texas or Nebraska), you can post on here and let us know

Once transferred it may take anywhere between 6-60 days to get an approval.

Then it goes to the NVC

May I ask why you suggest the request for the k3 first? just curious

There are very few k3s that will actually go to approval.

Then you have to go through Adjustment of Status (which as someone who has gone through - is insanely nerve wracking)

Although I see you as clearing Adjustment of Status pretty smoothly (if they do your K3 before the i-130).

Info-passes are usually ineffective (at least in my opinion).

You have been waiting for 300+ minutes to talk to a tier 2 - thats actually too long of a wait.

Lately senatorial/congressional intervention hasn't worked out so well either.

Staffers and liaisons know about these delays and do nothing.

Or perhaps wait. They are doing these in haphazard batches.

Apparently its not something they do every working day (?)

Its not in any particular order

Mostly because it doesnt have to be in any order

Presumably different workers will grab different batches of petitions and enter them into the system at different rates. Remember these numbers aren't just for stand-alone I-130s and not all cases are equal.
