The thing is i wish we just had a def time limit so we know our cases arent stuck in a backroom some place in alaska

No no.. stuck in a backroom in Lee's Summit Missouri.

That's where they are

You know, USCIS did this exact same thing in Feb and those good folk had to wait for 7.5 months JUST to get a transfer.

And there's nothing we can do right now.

We are definetely stuck in a backroom, but not in Alaska.. the bottomless black pit our files have been thrown down in, is Overland Park in Kansas or maybe even Lee's Summit.

Little trolls are still working their way down to where the Aug files have landed and then they need to work their way up with them. I think they need a month for our files to see the light of day again!!!!

Do you guys want to write a letter or something if we dont see anything happen soon? Like we should see what happens after the next updated date if miracles dont happen maybe we should take action again? Did u see that thread about the petition that has been pending since january 2013 ? thats crazy ....

Im up for that, but as you said, lets see the new updates. I would be surprised if we had to wait more than 9 months. But that is a long time, almost twice the "target".

It is painfully obvious they are doing June/July to fudge the figures though, which does not bode well for us!

I agree, we are all just hitting 5 months, so with a few delays (christmas, new year, i129F etc) i would say early Feb for a transfer or action....

I have participated in the last 2 letters that were sent. The first got a resppnse. Date of filling was changed from October 2012 to 12 Feb 2013 and they gave a 7.5 (??) month processing time and a letter stating their goal of reaching the 5 month processing time by May 2014.

Next update, processing date was change to 13 Feb 2013 and processing time to 8.4 months. A joke and an insult to all filers!

Honestly, even with another letter, nothing will be achieved. Im sorry if I sound bitter, but I am, because no matter what was tried by members here on VJ, technically it didn't work.

That doesnt mean that if another letter is sent out i won't participate. I just won't expect anything to come of it. And here i thought Greek bureaucracy was bad!!!!

We could always try? Just to "remind" them that we are watching........ but lets see what they say this week (hopefully). To be honest if it is past mid April I will be surprised!

I agree with everyone but just because that date changed to feb 13 or 14 what ever it was lol doesnt mean nothing has happened. We clearly know something has moved since july filers are being approved in more than in one case. The new issue is inconsistancy they have especially in texas

Plenty of things have moved, there is no denying that. The problem is though, why are they approving July filers when there are still April, May and June filers waiting to see approvals?

They are trying to improve their processing times. It worries me that they are approving July when there are still so many waiting from previous months.

Once they get their numbers to where they want them to be, they will stop approving July and got back to the front of the line. What does that say for Aug filers?

Everyday I log on to VJ to read updates and comments just looking for some glimmer of hope to hold on to but I swear sometimes I feel more depressed. My husband and I hear stories of friends of friends or family that went through the same process and it was done quickly. Then I have to explain to my husband why I think our petition is taking so long and explain those other people who went through the process quickly before didn't have these same problems. He thinks a phone call to USCIS and a polite conversation will just clear things up. lol. God bless my husband. He has all the patience and I have none. Its been 5 months since my 1st notice of action. If I have to wait 9 months for the 2nd NOA I think I will lose my mind. Insha allah, let the August transfers begin soon!!!
