What are the colors for on the spreadsheet? My case date is in orange just want to know why

Colors has nothing to do with our case so do not worry..

I am updating the sheet still do not know why we have different colors in sheet..

I wish your color will change soon to Dark gray ( approval case color )..

Hi guys, share this post with all August friends, by Saylin.

AVR is Automated Voice Response system. When you call NVC, you can either just press the options for the AVR and use your CIS receipt number to see if a case number has been assigned OR you can press an option to speak with an operator. The AVR number is the same as NVC 603-334-0700.

With the current Egypt crisis message at the beginning of NVC's recorded message, to get to the AVR, press 2, then 1 for English, 1 for immigrant visa, then 1 to use your CIS receipt number. Then a couple options will be presented depending what service center you were in. You press one of them for your SC, then 1 to confirm, then you put in your 10 digit CIS receipt number and again 1 to confirm. Then a recorded message will play about your case.

Once you have a case number, the options are: press 2 (if the Egypt crisis message is still there), then 1 for English, 1 for immigrant visas, then 2 to use your NVC case number. Then you have to enter the 3 digit code at the beginning of your case number, press 1 to confirm. Then enter the 10 digits that follow, then 1 to confirm. Then a recorded message will play about your case.

If you want to speak with an operator, it's just 2 (if the Egypt crisis message is there), then 1 for English, and then 5 for an operator.

After 12 midnight EST, the Egypt crisis message disappears since there are no operators to speak to. At this point, you don't press the first option 2, you skip that step.

Hey guys,

Here is a tip for everyone who is still waiting on NOA2. Part of my anxiety is seeing all the August people getting approvals and thinking that maybe there is a problem with my file.

I went back and looked through some of the spreadsheets for past months, and every month that I looked at still has lots of cases to go. I know that doesn't speed up our process, but it also helped to remove some of the anxiety for me.

its the burden of being the end of the month this bites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My pd was aug 2 and my transfer date was in January. Don't think end of month has much to do with it. Just tsc processing how they want/need to.

hello everyone!

i have been reading your updates and it has helped me a lot!! Its nice to know i am not alone.

I also filed in i-130 in august and my case was transferred to nbc in february but nothing since. i am trying to stay positive because i have seen all the approvals on here. Congrats! Praying i will also hear something soon.

august 18, and transferred to National Benefits Center in Missouri Feb 13..

I filed I-130 along with I-129f, the letter just said they were transferred and are now pending, i have called the 800#, and they dont tell me anything. I sent an email to my congressman and still nothing.

I figure if anything i should have heard something about the I-129f.. when i called the 800# they did put in a request for it to be looked at and said i should hear something within 45 days..
