BIG HUGGGG.....Do you think I will get a RFE because my lawyer didn't send any proof of our relationship. At the first stage of this journey, do we need to send all? Now I am confused and worried!

Thank you <3 ,umm i'm not sure dear ,they tend to give out some stupid RFEs sometimes :(

I feel your pain my friend! Four months we don't see my hubby, my tourist visa expired and I can't travel to visit him. Our baby miss his daddy so much!

God willing this part of our journey will end soon. I really want to be able to move by August.

God bless.

With kids it must be terrible ! i hope it goes fast for all of us ,i was hoping June or July but i don't think that will happen ,it should take around a year but at this speed looks more like September ...

Another good bye ,I cannot wait for the day that when we say goodbye it will only for a couple of hours and not months and months.

Now to deal with the Damn USCIS again ...we looked over our papers and its looks like the RFE will be for something really stupid ...the I130 just has couple of mistakes like leaving some answers blank instead of N/A ,for proof we sent them flight itineraries, pictures from all over the place taken in Tangier,Madrid,Cologne,Frankfurt,Copenhagen,Wyoming,Wisconsin with friends and family from first visit to last ,joint savings account ,Wedding pictures ring receipts.

I gave all documents to my husband to take with that i possibly could get just to be on the safe side ...

So if this is not enough proof we will make them feel sorry for sending us an RFE ... we got like 6000 hours + of skype calls ,we have 10.000 + pictures ,we can will get tons of letters from people who know us,we have like 300 hours of World of Warcraft logs ,we have this diary that we fill in every night and it is over 400 pages so far if it was a book it would be a 1000 pages + novel ,plus faceook and whatsapp messages thousands and thousands of those...all flight tickets i must have like 12 + or so ,and if they want even train ferrys and buss tickets hell even tickets from movies and museums ! we have pictures from our favorite restaurant 250+ pictures and like 20+ visits ...

Cannot stop crying ;( i mean we have another 5-6 month to go and we cannot afford another visit ...we have to save up for the next steps and the next two plane tickets if that ever will happen !! i miss my dogs they havent seen me in over 8 months ! i hate this so much.

Sorry for being extra whiny today its just i think i might lose my mind if this keeps up :(

Izzy

Jamie & izzy dont worry, i saw many cases after rfe they got approval fast.. Maybe a week or two.. Everything will be fine.. *e-hugs*

Hang in there Izzy. Jamie and you have tons and tons of proof of bona fide marriage and face time together. This is just a bump in the road. I feel like its probably something simple and soon you will speed pass us all to get your visa, insha allah. One day you two will visit me and Mohammed, and we will laugh at how crazy this whole process made us.

Watching Jamie leave and not knowing when you will see him again has made you extra sad so I am sending you extra "hugs" today.

OMG...so I just looked everything up and my "adult" daughter falls under the dependent criteria because I claimed her on my income tax. I NEED a sponsor. This so sucks....next thing to worry about sad.pngcray5ol.gif

Do you own your own house Lisa? Or have assets you can use? I thought I was going to have to use a co-sponsor because my income fell below the poverty guidelines but I read that if I take the value of my house, subtract what is left on the mortgage, divide that by 3, and add the result to my income, it puts me well above the poverty guideline.

Anyone, if I misunderstood this or I am incorrect, please correct me!

What kind of evidence have you been gathering up?

My i130 has not been approved yet but I am trying to gather some of the stuff needed too in hope that needed documents don't hold me back

I have birth certificates, marriage certificate , my tax transcripts , what else ?

Just a reminder for everyone to read and reread the NVC thread for the advice you need in the next stage. Being prepared will save you time.

The thread has just moved into March, found here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/483206-nvc-filers-march-2014/

I have been reading and reading and reading post and flow charts regarding forms and evidence to send to NVC. Trying to get everything ready but there are just some things that still are confusing to me. Everyone else seems to have a good grip on what to expect and to do......starting to feel like an idiot !!!

As mentioned above:)

It took me many many efforts at reading the NVC thread advice to make sense of it all, especially since there are so many differences amongst Countries that the beneficiary lives.. read the links and follow through on locating the Country-specific information on documentation required.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/483206-nvc-filers-march-2014/

Hi Deep, thanks for maintaining the spreadsheet. However, since now most of us got NOA2 approved, we are waiting for next steps like fee schedules, interview dates etc. Do you have plans to add those columns too for tracking ?

VJ'ers depend on Saylin's incredible efforts to guide and display via the NVC Spreadsheet. With NOA2, head on over to the NVC Thread:)

Great to see NVC tracking. I didn't know that there is another tracking sheet maintained and I don't find my info in it, not sure where I should post to add mine to the tracking. It is good to see how much time it is taking for others, specially when we all filed in the same month. Unless the URL (web link) is published frequently by administrators, people may not know the existence of this tracking sheet.

Pretty much every I-130 thread is repeatedly advised to head onto the NVC thread to start preparing what comes next. Anyone who follows such advice and reads the thread, will most certainly see that the Spreadsheet exists:)

Once someone sends in their I-130, it's pretty much just a waiting game in which to prepare for the next phase (unless you are the unfortunate who wait an unacceptable amount of time/longer than stated processing times, and start discussing options to obtain assistance from Congressmen or Senators, etc... or for some reason have received an RFE).

"If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you."

"Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference."

Yeah, it looks like a couple of September transfers went to Vermont, too. I guess it kind of makes sense - they're supposed to process them there, and a lot of the October filers who were automatically sent out to service centers rather than NBC (end of the month, when they seem to have finally given up on the legendary Overland Park facility) went to VSC.

Maybe they've finally dug out from under the DACA petitions and are ready to go back to work on ours! (I hope!)

Is your timeline updated?
