Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On November 25, 2013, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I am doing my best not worry, but this seem very bad to me. I received this email today, four days after my initial transfer from NBC to Texas. I never received a decision so I am confused as to why I would have post-decision activity? Why would they need to review it again when they never reviewed it in the first place? Why did the state department have it?

Stay tuned!!! I think you will be approved very very very soon

Hey guys! I sent my I-130 priority date 8/29/2013 and my I-129F for a K-3 on 9/11/2013 has anyone heard any updates my case was located to the national benefits center. I had my congress man due a inquiry on October the 16th and they stated that six months after that day my case will be approved which means mid March. I also did my own iquery a few weeks ago about the i-129 F they said that they are working on May 2013 and it will be my turn in mid Febuary which seems accurate that is five months. Anyone can relate to these stats? I also checked out National Benefits Centers time line they are working on Febuary 2013 which means for the past two months they have done Oct-Jan. My patience is running on a low I miss my husband and will not be able to see him till June if he doesnt get approved by than. I cant take anytime off of work to go to Kosova sad.png

I hate to burst your buble but here are some facts:

Actually the wait time is more than the 7.4 months shown in the USCIS.gov website.

We have people here that are still waiting since February, so it is about 9 months right now. Furthermore, the expedite put in place for Fillipines filers may (or may not) slow things down even more.

In the other hand, you never know, we have seen some crazy things happen here, some filers got approved within couple of weeks.

So, my advise to you is: be patient and keep your cool. I applied in July, and I'm "patiently" waiting my turn.

For the K3, it seems (and that's from a tier 2) that I-129F gets attached to the I-130 petition and they travel at the same speed. Once the I-130 gets adjudicated, the !-129F gets canceled. So I will not have high hopes for the K3. I myself filed a I-129F for a K3 but i'm not holding hodling my breath on that.

Good luck.

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

Just another email from USCIS...back to initial review.

The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: MSC1391607193

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On November 25, 2013, a notice was generated regarding your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case, including the mailing of this notice. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I spoke with Tier 2 earlier today. They said they have no record of my file being sent back and forth to the NVC. They said it was probably a clerical error. I will receive and email by December 1st detailing what actually happened. She said there is a small, very small, chance that it was approved then sent back by the NVC. Given that this happened to other people on the same day from the same batch, I doubt that is what occurred.
