Hi.... I need help I got checklist that they still waiting for affidavit of support form though I sent them already and delivered at NVC on 22nd July....

Can anyone please tell me what should I do..?????

The NVC has received the requested Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). However, we are still waiting for the Affidavit of Support form. Please submit the Affidavit of Support form according to the instructions on the Department of State website at the following address: www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov.

From there, you can fill out an Affidavit of Support form online, then print the completed form and mail it to NVC.

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the address provided.

I got same too,just resend it to be on a safer side,then let the petitioner call to know if they receive it,maybe is with them but yet to be reviewed,

They will tell you to give them 20 working days,it may not get up to that as soon as get the copy they will accept & let u know that they have gotten all they want, & let u know about Yr interview when a date is fix . Staple the doc, don't forget to write Yr case number on each paper, write ur name , case number at d back of Yr passport Always make photocopies before you send out, they could be careless at times.

We got a checklist too for our IV package after they had already received it....if they haven't reviewed it yet they will still send this out even though it shows in their system...we are just waiting on acceptance and hoping to get interview date assigned..they told me they have 20 business days to review....hoping these days pass quickly...

Likely those kinds of checklists, if not asking for specific information, are called "False Checklists" It generally means the other document set (AOS or IV) has been reviewed. Do not send anything again until you check with the NVC.

If the checklist is asking for the form itself and all accompanying documentation (which you already submitted), then it's a false checklist and can be disregarded.

If the checklist is asking for a specific item or items, then it's a real one and needs to be responded to.
