It all started when they sent us a RFE a month ago that never came. After around 3,000 calls to uscis, 3 service requests, and a contact with our representative, they resent the letter last thursday (still didn't come). Past monday the first RFE letter was returned to uscis as undeliverable (the address was right, we got letters from them before!). Today my fiance gets a call from a TSC agent saying that she looked over our process again and that she was going to approve it, WITH NO RFE!!!! I mean...miracles do happen and a contact from your senator office helps as well.

We just got our NOA2!!! I can't believe it! Finally!!!!! :)

8/22/15 Received notice of interview "call in letter" for September 1st 8am

9/01/15 AOS Interview Houston-APPROVED!

9/01/15 Card in production, Welcome notice has been mailed

9/05/15 Welcome Notice Received

9/08/15 Greencard was mailed

9/10/15 GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!!!!

 

ROC

6/2/17 mailed I-751 to csc priority mail

7/1/17 I-751 returned rejected (multiple items)

7/3/17 I-751 mailed again with signature confirmation

7/6/17 second I-751 delivered and signed for by Daniel Manchaca

7/10/17  Check Cashed

7/10/17  NOA

7/22/17  Biometrics letter for 8/2/17

8/02/17 Biometrics appointment DONE

3/05/18 case moved to local office

8/25/18 Extension letter (18 months)

9/29/18 service request submitted

10/06/18 response to service request

10/11/18  approved. No RFE, no interview

10/16/18  approval letter received in the mail

10/19/18 greencard received

I am the aforementioned fiance... :) And yes...calling them and putting up with their TERRIBLE hold music seemed to help a bit but I really have to hand it to the Congressman...in our case Congresswoman. One doesnt just get a call from their specific agent and have an RFE waived for no reason. It seems that a little pressure from an influential Congressman will get them sweating a little :). For all of you out there that are from Maryland and particularly the Baltimore area Congressman Barbara Mikulski's office is EXTREMELY helpful. I would suggest getting in touch with your local congressman at the first sign of any trouble as it seems that it definitely helps!

[March 2012] Met online on Christian Mingle [November 27th 2013] AoS sent
[June 25th 2012] Met in Person in London!
[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

[september 24th 2013] Interview - Refused due to passport and birth certificate condition

[september 26th 2013] Emergency appt at HM Passport Office London - New Passport and Birth Certificate in hand
[september 30th 2013] DX collects passport and birth certificate

[October 3rd] - Docs delivered to Embassy

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark
