Hey guys, I'm new to the forum you've been super helpful. I've been reading your posts for months now. Thanks. So, my fiancé lives in Singapore but I made a mistake on our 129f by using her old address. I thought that I was going to get an RFE, but I was approved from VSC/TSC. I didn't realize that I did until I asked her why its taking so long for P3 to come. I called the NVC and I changed it there and I emailed the US embassy in Sing. Has this happened to anyone and what to do next. Thanks!

Did she retrieve the packet 3 at the old address, or no ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

No, actually it was her old address when she was much younger. I looked and looked over the 129f for mistakes, but sent it because I thought everything was ok. She's been living in a totally different place for years. But it was a mistake on my part.

No she did not. When I called the NVC, they took the new address but they said that changed has I be made at the Embassy. I called the Embassy in Sing and they told me to call the NVC. So I emailed the US Embassy in Sing giving them all the required info and asked them to respond so I would know what they were going to do. I asked the rep at NVC if she can just go to the Embassy and request the packet and they said that she would need an appointment before going up there. If the packet is sent back to the Embassy, will they send out another? Thanks for responding. I appreciate it

I say keep emailing the IV Unit in Singapura until something happens, at this point.

Thanks for your help. I just hope that it won't be delayed too long. This process can be very difficult. I'm going to continue calling and emailing, hoping that they can redirect it to her soon. Take care.

no - she needs a NEW one. redirecting the old one is a waste of time.
