Hi,

Do any know if durring Interview at Cambodia US embassy will accept tax transcript or it has to be a copy of our 1040 return+W2 and all supporting doc?

05/02/2014 e-noticification: Alien registration number changed
08/08/2014 case transferred and processed at USCIS office
08/11/2014 case transferred to local office
08/16/2014 hardcopy of case transferred to CSC 2ND FL, 2400 Avila Rd, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-0111
08/19/2014 case transferred and processed at USCIS office
09/09/2014 touch

Either will work but the transcript is easier.

AOS paid 8/5/12, IV paid 8/23/12.

ds230,i864ez,aos and iv receipt,documents(6 last pay stubs,job letter,beneficiary's birth certificate(certified and legalized),2 2x2 photos,police report(certified),w2 and transcripts from 2009-2011,copy of beneficiary passport.8/23/12

checklist received from NVC on 8/30/12- missing petioner's documents(marriage certificate,birth certificate,2011 transcript).

Looking at your timeline it appears that you just started the process. With that said, I suggest you take a look at this link http://cambodia.usembassy.gov/packet_3.html which will give you an idea of what things is needed for the next step as well as what is needed at the actual interview. There is a checklist.

Tax transcript of 1040 or W2 can be used as financial proof during the Packet 3 stage. You will submit it along with the I134 affidavit of support. It's good to make an extra copy and take it with you to the interview.

I wanna jump in here real quick, since it seems that people know what they talking about! If we submit the 1040 and w2's, will we get the original documents back??

I doubt you would see those again as this type of info becomes part of the case file. There is no reason to submit them because you can use the transcripts or copies of the other tax info.

I agree. For the transcript I did submit the original with my Packet 3 just because I can easily request another original copy from IRS to present at the interview.

However, 1040 and/or W2 is not easy to get the originals. Maybe it depends on the embassy too, some might requires originals? Do check with them.
