Me either..only thing alien registration number changed on Sept 6, this really sucks

Devy and Lynette, if it brings you guys any solace, even though I got the NOA2 on the 18th of October, my file is still languishing in Texas and I just got off the phone with one of the IMO who was rude and he said it could take another 4 weeks. Go figure!

I am really shocked with the way the government works. Wish all these government entities were privatised!

Hello every one

is it possible that USCIS sent the packet to NVC and they just did not update my profile on their site saying that the packet is sent to NVC?

has any one experienced this? sad.png

thanks muuuch

Ivan I would call NVC or DOS to check on that. Some of the approved NOA2's from october are still languishing at TSC.

Hi Amy101, the Ready status in CEAC means that your embassy had received your electronic file. That will again be updated in a week or 2 once the local embassy receives your physical file and enters it in their system.

Hope this helps...

Thanks @Gleici&Daryl! We are very lucky.

Good luck to you guys!

So how come on the dhl website it states that it was just reveived today ...this is confusing....what you states makes perfect sense its just that that case updates are confusing lol

YES ours for example! NOA 10/30...I spoke to USCIS, DOS and NVC today. Interesting, DOS lady could see that our petition was approved on her computer in her database, but said NVC had not uploaded it and did not have it. She could not explain how it was she could see it but she said it wasn't sent yet. Then USCIS said lady said it could up to 90 days to arrive in NVC from NOA2...lovely. Then NVC lady said it was not yet there, and it could take 8 weeks...What about 2 weeks like it seems to be taking everyone else on this site?? Sorry if I sound annoying...

@N&P, thanks a lot! Wishing you all the best too. Now off to shop for that wedding gown and more..... smile.png

Ha, finally I'm a step ahead of you- already got my wedding dress ;) Enjoy the wedding planning!!! BTW- since we won't get married until next July- please do share if you come up with cost saving, fun, creative ideas/things for your wedding.

NOA-1 August 16th. STILL NO NOA-2. What the hell is TSC doing? Sitting on their thumbs? Last email said alien registration changed on October 16th. Nothing since then.

Bob & Orlando

Sorry- it sucks, but hang in there. I hope you guys get it soon.

I have to eat my words! We can't believe it- we just got notice that the case was shipped to NVC today, Nov 21st!

Wow- will you look at that! ;) Good luck on the next steps!!

Gotcha...

What I would do is perhaps wait a few more days to see whether it changes.

If by Monday/Tuesday it still shows "In Transit", I would send an email to the Embassy/Consulate to see whether they have received the parcel or not.

Best of luck!
