Problems with pay MRV fee online

So, this morning I have spent around 2 hours trying to sort this out. On the new website I have been able to pay the courier fee and managed to figure out how to get it delivered to my home. I have been unable to pay the MRV fee as it does not give me an option to. I replied to a VJ member's thread who has had the same issue and I was given the embassy's operator phone number. I called them just now and the lady told me that I could pay at my interview. I am a bit apprehensive though because I have heard of people being turned away because they didn't pay in advance (this was before this new system though).

Is anyone else unable to pay the MRV fee?

Guys, take my advice and read through everything. Then read through it again. Go through the 'apply for a K1' route on the new website. Now I have completed and paid both MRV and courier fee.

Mar 18 2013: I-129F mailed to CSC Nov 15 2013: I-485 with EAD/AP filed at Chicago Lockbox

Sept 19 2013: Interview - Approved!! Jan 25 2014: EAD/AP Card Received

Oct 6 2013: POE - Chicago O'Hare June 2 2014: Permanent Resident Card Received!

Oct 27 2013: Wedding!

When you say new website what do u mean? Im glad u got it sorted

[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

[August 23rd 2013] I call DoS and they tell me my interview date, (2 weeks since I sent ds-2001)

[August 27th 2013 CEAC update - London dispatches packet 4]

[August 29th 2013] Packet 4 received
[september 24th 2013] Interview - Refused due to passport and birth certificate condition

[september 26th 2013] Emergency appt at HM Passport Office London - New Passport and Birth Certificate in hand
[september 30th 2013] DX collects passport and birth certificate

[October 3rd] - Docs delivered to Embassy

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark

I'm sure this is the website I used to pay. I think it's under IV not NIV. I'm so sorry I can't be more specific. I should have kept tabs on what I did but I was very stressed at the time.

This has been my experience of it if you find you can't see any way to pay the MRV fee.

a) If it's not working for you have to start again

b) You must select the K1 visa option FIRST before you do anything else

c) You will need to register as applicant again for which you may well need another email address

d) If you do this it will lead you through the process which is basically applicant details / courier details (depot despatch)/ pay MRV and then pay for local delivery

You will even see a little process chart to help you.

It was dead easy once I started the process again. Didn't even barf when I entered the same applicant details again.

Yep i second that. Try and try as I might it would NOT work. Until I just told steve i give up and he tried it from the beginning, with his email address...and it worked.

mine didnt work even though i followed instructions 4 times. i gave up and my fiance tried following the same instructions, it worked first time for him. do you think maybe there is a block on the system so only ip addresses in US can pay? or is the fault purely random?
