I'm sorry for your denial

You say that she didn't know your previous employment and residence AND she didn't know you were previously married?

Honestly, these are big things a consular looks for, why didn't she know these things, especially the previous marriage?

good luck

Mimolicious _ she did answer those questions asked about my exwifes name date of our seperation but officer asked her how do you know. My wife replied that I told her about it during before marriage and officer interapter her andasked my wife if she knew her and she said no. My wife even handed him the copy of the decree I sent it to her.

The other thing is my wife does not speak English and there is an interpreter in middle that I am not sure if information is really coming from the officer or those were his words. All in all really un happy and I am getting less tense reading your post.

One last help request,

If nothing is reverse how can I reapply as the officer mention to my wife if I love her that I would reapply for her. How long do I wait to reapply another visa and where do I start.

Thank you all for helping me.

I agree with your congressman contact, respond to NVC and try and get it returned to the embassy. I think it is imperative that she know everything you know about the file, past relationship's, work and who you call and why. Good Luck with this action.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

While I cannot contribute anything really, I just want to tell you I'm sorry this has happened to you, and I hope that you and your wife will be able to be together soon! As others have said before, make sure your wife knows everything about your previous relationships and work, so she can answer all questions with confidence the next time. GOOD LUCK!!

Help please.

My wife had her interview appointment scheduled yesterday. She went to the US Embassy early morning she got there 6:30 am and her appointment was schedule to be done at 07:30 am. She got went in at 6:30 am and waiting until 8:15 am to be called at a window. She was asked a series of questions regarding my previous marriage. She was asked about about how and where we meat. Everything was going well and the counselor asked my wife my employer information and she answered them correctly and she was asked about my previous employers and she told him she does not know and counselor responded he should have told you that information if he loves you. The consular clearly intimidate her and asked her how we contact each other and she told them by phone, counselor asked for phone records and she provided to them and told her does he seemed to call other people more than he call you which, the record clearly lists all the contacts to her number is 80%. He told my wife, you husband does not love you and he talks to other girl. HUUUUUUUH. My wife told him that is not true...and finally he told her "If your husband loves you he will reapply for you. I am depressed and sad about the situation and needing you feed back. I contacted my senator and her assistance had me fill out privacy form and said they will forward this to her. Please help! Attached is the letter given to her after the denial.

I am so sad to hear that this happened to you.

It happened to me and my husband too. He had his interview on January 12, 2012 and gave him the same reason for denying the visa at that time. I tried to call the embassy and sent all kinds of e-mails. I did not find out anything until September of 2012. We are still waiting on a second interview. I am so sad to tell you our story, but it is possible you are going to face the same process. They will send you a letter telling exactly why the visa was denied and then you have to send them proof that the embassy was wrong. Then you wait for another approval and interview date. My husband and I will be married 3 years this coming October and he still is not here.

I am truly so very sad for you and your wife. This is a hard and painful process, but I can tell you that my husband and I are closer and more in love now than we ever have been. True love can hold onto HOPE.

NOA 1 November 15, 2010

NOA 2 August 25, 2011

Closed NVC Ocotber 11, 2011

Interview Date: January 12,2012

Thank you my wonderful God in Heaven.

I've tried to but haven't been successful in getting data on those that were denied a visa and used an intepreter.

It is my opinion or suspicion that applicants who use an interpreter are nto favoribly decided upon. Just my take.

The questions asked of OPs Wife are those that I haven't seen asked from VWP countries.

Good luck in solving this OP. Congressperson/Senator to me, at least from California, were a total waste. I am not sure if for lack of their efforts or maybe they just have less bite than they used to have.

I don't think that a consular could accuse your husband of cheating on you or even tell you this if your husband does. Your husband could SEW him harshly and get you the visa and get him self a big compensation and even screw the consular career.

Slander is only illegal in certain States.. This would not qualify for a lawsuit also the rewards or winnings would not b the visa OP is seeking

OP is the husband.....

Please dont give advice that does not have a factual basis...

If the senator's/congressman's inquiry does not result in a second interview then the case will be returned. You will then receive a

NOID/NOIR letter to which you must respond and overcome the obstacle said in letter. Gather as much evidence as you have.
The email you received from the embassy is a standard reply when they are not convinced (or do not want to be convinced) of your

bona fide relationship. It happens. For now forget about refiling and focus on the letter you will receive.
Have your senator/congressman ask for the diplomatic pouch number to track it.

If I were you I would consider being there for her next interview (if any) to proof that you are sincere enough to make the trip and be in support for her and for their " accusation of you not being sincere."

If the case gets returned she may be reaffirmed and approved with or without another interview.

Let us know what happens.
