Suppose we are talking about a I-130 petition. After it is approved and it is time for the consulate interview. Do derivative beneficiary have to be interviewed too? If so, are they interviewed together with the principal beneficiary, or is everone interviewed separately?

Yes. The principal applicant and derivatives (regardless of age) must be physically present at the consular interview. They will also undergo mandatory medical examination prior to the interview.

with subsequent NVC DOC Intake on each human, yes?

oh wait -

which visa type are they all to interview for/on?

I ask - because you not really 'seem' to be chasing a CR-1/IR-1 visa .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
