Regarding a g-25A mistake! help!

Hello all-

I am in the process of getting the papers together to send away the 1-130 packet. On the g-25a form with the question regarding the address outside of the us if for more than a year-- do you need to put this as the address where your spouse lives, even if right above you´ve put the addresses for the past 5 years and it is clear they have always lived outside of the us?

i accidently put NA misunderstanding the question and am wondering if i should wite it out and fill in my husbands current address (as it is otuside th us as he has always lived in nicaragua) or if wite out is a problem,if i can just leave the NA or if i need to find a way to get the forms mailed to him again, signed, and sent back to me.

Is it possible to strike out the N/A, and still fit in the address?

I know I was hesitant about using white-out, and actually had my husband redo the forms because he made like 6 mistakes! I was a bit peeved

My understanding is that these forms aren't a huge deal, but maybe someone else can relay whether they've used white-out. My main concern with filling in that box was to show that he wasn't living in the U.S., although that should be obvious from the form anyway. It's a stupid form.

I just filled it out as per the example forms. So even though I filled out where I was living for the past 5 years (Canada), I also filled out the past year one with the same address. I figured it was better to do that than leave it blank or n/a.

I don't know how picky they are. Maybe you can just put your address beside the n/a without striking it out. Or maybe beside the n/a you can put "see above"?

Probably the easiest fix. Don't get overly excited. Just make the corrections.
