Hello,

Is it possible to wait for months to get an interview for a K-1 visa? I'm applying in Ankara, Turkey and haven't been able to secure one yet (it's been around 2 weeks). Is there anything else I can do to speed up the process?

Thank you in advance!

I'm having the same problem. And the approval expires on

11/9/2013. I'm so fed up with the appt not available I'm just going

To pay the visa through AK Bank and call from turkey

Have you had any luck?

Not yet. But my peition expires in a few days on August 9th. I contacted the US Embassy to extend it, so hopefully they will. I didn't know there was another way to pay the visa fee (through AK Bank). Can you get an appoinment this way too?

You have to call the embassy from turkey with the receipt from AK Bank. Have not tried this yet bit am thinking its the way to go as I see they are scheduled through oct 31 already on the embassy web site so guess that means November will be open soon.
