Hi Everyone,

As you all know I was approved a few days ago, and I found out by e-mail. I have not actually received anything by mail just yet, but I am wondering if there is a website like USCIS that you can check when you been touched or it has passed and ready to go to counslate for the NVC. Does NVC have a e-mail alert website like USCIS?????? Thank you in advance, WJR.

K1s normally process in and out of NVC within 2 weeks. You can call and talk to an operator to see if it has been assigned the new case number. Do not use the automated system for K1- the numbers are not entered. You can email them to find out information too. (emails might take 3-4 days for a reply. When the case is approved and ready to be sent out NVC will send you a letter.

If you know when the petition leaves NVC you can use the tracking system on dhl.com to see the packages leaving for your consulate. There is no way to knowif you petition is in which one, but you can gestimate based on what NVC tells you.

Good luck!

Since you have already been approved, you should get a hard copy in the mail. You can, if you want send an email to NVC to see if they received your file yet. The e-mail address is NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

I would send the email on Sunday and then call them Monday or Tuesday. I sent an email on Sunday and then called Monday. I was told on Monday that they received my case. I then received an email on Wed. stating that my case was mailed out to my fiance's country. The number is 603 334-0700 .
