I don't think we'll get any letter, USEM is the one who will contact us not NVC and they're gonna reach either you or your fiance via email.

I'd say probably it'll take 3 to 8 weeks until we'll get packet 3.

You can call NVC and ask your case file number to get a medical exam done before you get contacted for packet 3

Correct me if I'm wrong, other Indonesian fillers?

This is too variable to have any definite answers. It depends partially on you. Partially on them. Partially on how busy they are. Partially on how busy the Doctor is. Partially on how fast the Dr forwards your results. Partially on how much Karma likes you that day. Partially on if that ladybug you squashed by accident is still mad at you. Partially on if you made that wish from your eyelash three days ago...

Just keep that in mind when looking at timelines, and comparing your case to others. :)

lol.. it's correct, 'partially' on everything.. I know I'm gonna take my time to get the interview done. I'm still waiting for the police record in my hand so even though the embassy send me packet 3 in 3 weeks I won't contact them to schedule the interview until I get the police record (I'm talking about Australian police record). Some of Indonesian filers have problem with vaccination and police record as well so the timeline does not give you an accurate comparison, just roughly.

In the mean time prepare all the docs needed for the interview, I'm waiting for the hard copied docs of what my fiance sent in the first place to USCIS and other supporting docs.

Other than that, just relax and try not to focus on the dreadful endless waiting.

But seriously though, any insights and comments senior Indonesian fillers?

It took one month since we got approved (NOA2) by email, hard copy came a week after and i got the packet 3 by email three weeks after the hard copy, it contains the Case Number and the requirements they ask. My fiancé didn't call the NVC because he was so sure that our case is touched and people are working on it, plus i didn't want him to wait on the line phone for hours just to get the number.

My suggestion is be patient, it will come to you :)

you got Package 3 by email from NVC?not mail / hard copy?

our lawyer wait the letter from NVC to get case number (i guess ???) and from that letter they will know if they must send the filed by mail or email..is it correct?

we got the hard copy NOA2 on 24 July and for sure..for next step after NOA2, absolutely make me confused as my lawyer say this and my friends experience say that...

but now i just wait and do others things to prepare before fly to USA..

Yep, i got packet 3 by email a month after my fiancé got NOA2 by email.

Maybe (my opinion) you'll get the packet 3 around August 24 :)
