How do I get an MRV Receipt # for Romanian Embassy?

I had the embassy send preliminary packet 3 and in the instructions it says to schedule a pick up address at www.ustraveldocs.com and bring confirmation letter to the embassy. We created the profile and select a pick up point, as we click "continue" a payment section appears asking for MRV Receipt #.

I'm a bit unclear on next steps to schedule an appt.

Thoughts? Should I just call the embassy?

You are talking about your case# you get from NVC after USCIS sends your casefile to NVC for case# assignment than they send you case to embassy?

I would gather you haven't so you need to be calling NVC and get your case#.

Because K1's pay at the Embassy on the day of the interview, you can not go any further from that point on ustraveldocs.com. There is a phone number from the call centre. Tell your fiance to call there and explain the situation and ask what to do next. It will probably get a number, and he takes that number to the interview and he'll be ok.

In order to schedule the interview, your fiance needs to send back the package to the embassy with the 3 forms filed out, a copy after his passport bio page and 1 passport type photo, and the instructions signed on the back. Only after the embassy receives this package from your fiance, only then he can call to schedule the appt.
