Congrats to everyone who has been approved and taken the oath!!

We are waiting patiently to see when they will reschedule the interview since the USCIS office was closed due to weather on the day of Sifa's interview. Hopefully we'll hear something soon!

Hi,guys.

I have a weird situation going on and i was hoping i will get some kind of advise on it.

I have filed my n-400 in august,16th,have received my NOA relatively fast,as well as biometrics notice.

On September 23d my case has been placed in line for the interview scheduling with a little note in the info box"If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service",well it just so happened that it's been over 90 days and there is no status change,i called their office early in the morning and they said that they are sending the request to the immigration office,they gave me the confirmation number of the form that they filed, and according to what they say,i have to wait for another 30 days until i get some kind of information (not necessarily the interview notice),this is madness and i don't know what's going on!

I'm upset,it has been over 4 months now since i filed my n-400 and there is no activity at all.

have any of you,guys,experienced anything similar?or maybe your friends?i don't know what to think since i've read that naturalization procedure is relatively fast.

IcyStar - Do not worry. I was in a similar situation. My case was placed in line for interview Sept 5. Then 90 days later, nothing. Eventually they will get to you. I was a bit nervous myself, but on Dec 23 (108 days later), I checked my online status and it said we were scheduled. Still waiting on the letter with the actual Interview Date though.

Depending on where your home field office is, they just may be super busy with a long list of applicants. The national center can't control the process at the local field offices. Sit tight.

haha,thank you for your response,well i hope you're right and i'm just panicking with no reason..this whole thing is pestering me.A month ago,or little bit over than that,i received the yellow letter from USCIS regarding my additional paperwork that needs to be brought onto the interview(which is weird because i've submitted with my file everything they described in the letter).so i thought,ah,ok,since i got some kind of information from them,perhaps they are getting to the point of scheduling the interview for me.but i guess it was silly to assume.

Our local immigration office is in Baltimore,MD.

i know in so many cases it takes no longer than 5 months,and it's different with me.

and i also am surprised it took so long with your case,as far as i know California processes papers really fast,from 3-5 months.wow.

Hi,guys.

I have a weird situation going on and i was hoping i will get some kind of advise on it.

I have filed my n-400 in august,16th,have received my NOA relatively fast,as well as biometrics notice.

On September 23d my case has been placed in line for the interview scheduling with a little note in the info box"If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service",well it just so happened that it's been over 90 days and there is no status change,i called their office early in the morning and they said that they are sending the request to the immigration office,they gave me the confirmation number of the form that they filed, and according to what they say,i have to wait for another 30 days until i get some kind of information (not necessarily the interview notice),this is madness and i don't know what's going on!

I'm upset,it has been over 4 months now since i filed my n-400 and there is no activity at all.

have any of you,guys,experienced anything similar?or maybe your friends?i don't know what to think since i've read that naturalization procedure is relatively fast.

Icy Star, I am having the same problem. Filed N-400 in August ( in Baltimore) and still waiting for an interview date.

Final status update - Applied for US passport on Dec 23rd in Queens NY thru regular processing. As of now, its out for delivery at my house :) End of journey.
