London K applicants to pay MRV fees through new system if interview 26th July+

yeah i just spent 20 minutes on the phone line to pay for my fee's... £25 to pay for a fee is probably the most annoying thing I have had to pay for in this whole process and as you all know there are a lot of costs involved!
Hope this works out and fast for all those still waiting to get to this point

Seeing as it's the 26th today, could I ring up the Embassy today and pay for the K1 via phone? I do not have an interview date yet.

Why would you want to do that? Hang on for the new online system and use that so you're not paying for a phone call.

I just received my appointment letter. I called the new number for London 020 3608 6998 and after going through a lot of menu's I finally got to speak with a person who told me that I can pay online and also cancel, re-schedule my appointment on line by making an account on the website.

I have just spent the last half hour doing this, found I could pay courier fees (which I have done) but could not find a way to pay for the visa's, change my appointment or get any information. Frustrating!

Yeah. The phone line misinformed you. The FAQ about the new online system specifically says that K1s will not be allowed to schedule (or re-schedule in this case) their own appointments themselves. They'll still get their interview assigned for them. Although you should be able to pay for your visa. That's definitely meant to change with the new system (hence this post).

I think the change-over happened like, last night or the night before... I imagine there's some teething issues. You should be fine to still pay over the phone, though. You could even just wait and try it again online next week.

They never gave me the option to pay, just told me to do it all on-line. I will give it a few days and see what happens

Let us know what happens as I have just created an account and found the visa fees page. However it says follow instructions below and I cannot see any.

Oregon, which of the couriers things do you select from the drop down menu, none are close to where I want it to go and several are probably around the same distance. Weird set up this is.

I set up an account then went to my home page and it says need to pay courier (or set up courier) or similar, when I select that it had a drop down of DX courier places which I did not understand. Having followed the link above I now see you select the depot nearest you which they will deliver to free, and can (for $30) have home delivery, after hitting continue it then said you need to pay MRV fee of $240. It then had a page for your debit card details, (Visa or mastercard debit cards only). I did not go any further as I am not ready yet but am hoping it will then ask for home delivery details as I cant be bothered to go traipsing round the country for my documents back.

I hope thats right anyway but would appreciate feedback from someone who goes through the whole process.

So has the price for the return of passports to your home gone up? $30 is approx £19. Was it not £14.80 standard before?

Oh man. I decided to take a look at this new site so I knew what I was doing when it comes to it. I'm not sure what I've managed to do, I think I made an account on the Nonimmigrant section, and now when I go to look at the courier stuff and K1 bits, it's asking me to make a new account. So I enter details again and it says I already have an account. But it won't recognise the account unless I'm on the Nonimmigrant section.
