hey guys, guess you all fine, am Nifa from Uganda, am new to this website but will really appreciate your help,, i applied for a K1 visa in june hope to be approved after a few months but am alittle scared i have been denied two time for students visa, that was in 2011 and 2012, so now my fiance decided that we should use the k1 visa, do you guys think i will have issues with the immgrations???? i was denied coz i didnt have strong ties...... does anyone know how long it will take for me to be approved, am so tired of the lonely life i badly want to be with my man... thanks alot and hope to hear from everyone very soon

The denials for the tourist visas are normal and nothing to be worried about as far as the K 1 application is concerned.

I suggest you both work on documentation of your relationship which will be needed later. Now is the time for planning.

How long? See the timelines here on V J. They are pretty accurate. Plan on about 9 to 12 months. Keep in mind USCIS is working on 2.5 million cases more or less.

ohhh God, that is way too long, wel am glad the other denials have nothing to do with the fiance visa..... thanx
