My wife and I arrived at the consulate at 0930 immediately waited in line 3, my interview was set up for 1000

they let the 0930 k1 visa in first than the lady checking papers asked us our name and saw it in the list checked our interview letter and placed a green sticker on me and my wife. We where let in immediately went through the metal detector, I did not bring my cellphone but was told cellphone are now allowed on the premises, we went striaght to the line for window 4 where we waited for the couple in front of us to finish, after done we went up to the window and the lady revises all our paper work and asks us for the police certificate as she could not locate it on our file my wife was asked questions related to the documents, they asked her when has she lived in venezuela and where will she live while in the US, then we where done with window 4 and was sent to have a seat next to like 3 people waiting to get interviewed. My wife's name was called in about half an our from leaving window 4 and was told to go to window 2 we did, at window 2 she picked up the phone in which one talks to the immigration officer through the window the officer reviewed her papers asked her a couple of routine questions, told my wife to scan her fingers for fingerprints, asked her to raise her right hand and swear that everything submitted is correct, handed her a domestic violence information page and instructions on how to pay the 165 dollars for uscis payment afterwards we left and went to our hotel, overall everything went very smooth we where out of there at 1040.

Nice info, thanks. I'm currently waiting on my K1 NVC case #.

Question, I've read on other threads that people are asking the NVC for the case #, invoice # and beneficiary ID #. For what will I use these?

Thanks
