hi , me and my wife send i-130 for me on 23 may 2013 and we got back nofication of action but after that i didnt get any answer frome them . my q is

how long they send u back with approved

and how long the cr-1 its take

5 to 8 months depending what local office you are for approval at USCIS.

2 to 4 months at NVC. You still have a good 6 to 8 months of waiting. And depending on what happens in your country interview could take a while. It just opened today after being closed for 2 weeks.

Normally takes 8 months to a year. Sometimes longer. The majority of that is spent waiting at the USCIS for the NOA2 (from 4-10 months - about 6 on average.)

Also if you're the beneficiary you may want to read up on additional processing or administrative processing.

Both of you should do your homework on what is required after the USCIS approval so that you have everything prepared and ready to go.

Our NOA1 was on17th jan and my interview was 4th of june and i received my IR1 visa 6th of june

03/29/2013 - AOS Appears as PAID
03/28/2013 - IV Invoiced & Paid
03/30/2013 - IV Appears as PAID
03/30/2013 - AOS & IV Sent
04/02/2013 - AOS & IV Received
04/15/2013 - AOS Accepted

They already answered you. 5-8 months average. It won't be much quicker unless you both live overseas together, and that's no guarantee either. And it could be much longer if your case is complicated, red flagged, has errors, is misplaced or lost, etc.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Mady, you both were in Egypt together for a long time

So your case is different

Do not give people the wrong idea of a quick approval

because most people do not live with their spouses in Egypt. They have to wait the normal wait time

We waited 3.5 months for NOA2

But right now the wait for NOA2 is long due to the turmoil in egypt

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

Dear i already told him that we filled it from abroad and that it was sent to a different center ... and we weren't in egypt btw for a long time . One more thing i beleie the approval was fast as we are married for around 3.5 years now .

Time you have been married has no bearing on uscis processing times... We were married 7 years before filing and it was 5 months... Processing times vary from center to center and lunar cycle, weather, luck and general randomness...

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

I-130

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

thank u for helping and mady aready explane to me that she fild it frome egypt and i understand that . i been marry for 3 years too and i file since 3 may and i just want it when i get approverd beacsue now it been like 2 month , so its normal . i just want to know how long it tacke to take approved since u filed i-130 thank u for all the helping . and if any one can help me how to file joint sponsor that will be helpful thank u
