Makes me wonder if they just keep asking questions to see if one is making up answers. biggrin.png

I mean blood type? That's the last thing my fiance or I would have ever thought about discussing. Not that we would hide it, but just that it isn't something we all think about.

i know.. i can't give u more details but just expect the unexpected if ever..but i hope it will be a smooth sailing seminar.. then there will be no need to be in the dark.haha

I had my cfo seminar last July 5 here in Manila, Friday is the best time to attend the seminar because not so much people....

.I arrived at 5:30. I was the 10th person in line...bring jacket cause it is cold to wait outside the building at this time.

.I was able to get a sample of the form of the CFO in one of the blogs online, I printed it out and fill up the info needed so I just follow my answers when the CFO personnel gave us the form...took me 10 minutes to fill up the actual form so i was the first in line to register...

I was the first to be interviewed before the seminar, interview at 8:15, seminar started at 9..the counselor asked for my fiancé' s divorce papers, she asked me the cause of the divorce...she really read page by page of the divorce papers and kept the copy ( so be ready for a photocopy of the divorce papers)...she also asked for pics and she will keep 3 or 4 pieces photos...the interview was about 20 minutes, nice conversation type interview.

Then seminar started at 9 and ended around 11 then the one on one interview resumed...we paid the 400 in the 1st floor and we got the certificate and receipt at around 11:45...

Don't forget to bring pen and mint candies....i rate the CFO seminar experience 10 cause it is educating, I learned a lot and had fun with the interaction.

Can I get this sample from you? Or you can just post it on here. That would be extremely helpful for many who are preparing for this. :)

Guys, whoever got the sample form i posted on our blogsite, i hope that you will keep it private. CFO called me and asked me to remove that form on our blog. I was told that some counselee who attended at CFO were actually the ones who informed CFO about my review. Unfortunately, that form is not allowed to be shared. also, I was told that they are actually having a new form that will be out anytime soon... my only intention was to help some of those who are about to go there, unfortunately this is what had happened. But I respect CFO's request. And I hope you too..unless u want them to call u.haha. i dnt even know how they knew it was me.. hummm

Oh okay, very well then. I had no idea it wasn't allowed or I wouldn't have asked for it. So thanks for letting me know, and I do agree with you that it shouldn't be shared then.

well, i felt bad that it is not allowed to be shared..bec i know it would be helpful to everyone who are about to go there.. they said it is confidential.. for so many reasons that some "not so good people" might use their form in a bad way..just like before..that's why they asked me to remove it and not to be shared.. even at CFO's office, u are only allowed to bring that form on the ground floor when u are going to pay..

but don't worry bec the other questions there are self explanatory. and i am sure your fiancee can answer those.. also the other info that will be asked were mentioned here already..like the mother's maiden name, zipcode, emails, cellphone numbers, tel.no, fiance's work, fiance's ex wife's nationality,DOB,address, educ attainment,course,etc....also, the counselor and counselees will review the form together to put the correct answers.. so i know your fiancee will be fine..

i am saying this bec i want us to prevent any further delays from CFO only bec they knew that some were using that form provided online which is actually not allowed.. or will be given a hard time during the seminar bec of this.. i don't want that to happen to anyone..so let's just follow them..so that we won't be surprised. :) Also, they are aware that this site exists as what was mentioned to me :)

My fiancé is getting ready for her CFO.....on the list stated on this thread-

6. Copy of fiance's proof of singleness (tax transcript and paystubs)

I don't see this requirement on the official government website on what is required for the CFO, am I missing something here ??

That's where a site like VisaJourney comes in so handy. :)

If you notice, it does state that "other documents as may be required by the counselor" are to be brought.

VisaJourney members who have attended the CFO have offered their input as to what this other documentation tends to be.

Lately, they are now asking for proof of singleness of the petitioner among these "other documents". Several members have come on here confirming this, some having been sent back because they don't have it.

Thanks !!!

What CFO is normally looking for is divorcee decrees or death certificates . Proving "singleness" when one has never been married is difficult being the USA doesn't use anything like the CENOMAR. This has been a hit 'n' miss question with CFO, some have shown a tax return that their fiancé files as single status. If you do send a copy of your tax return make sure your SSN is blacked out on all pages, plus any other info you deem private. If you have a divorce decree or death certificate you don't need to bother with the tax return.

As for requirements... CFO used their "any other documents" card whenever they want something different.

aside from the tax returns, the beneficiary who's in the Philippines may also get a CENOMAR for the petitioner (fiance).. if the person does not appear on marriage indices of NSO, it will just state on cenomar that he is not listed..etc etc.. this is to prove that fiance is not married to anyone in the PH and not listed on NSO's marriage indices.. if you will ask if this is possible, yes it is...

But is it even slightly necessary? I don't know of CFO ever asking for CENOMAR for the USC. For the most part CFO is not overly difficult, but they do love their curve balls :)

this CENOMAR is the proof of singleness of the USC in the PH.

this would be the best proof to CFO to show that their fiance is not married to anyone in the PH

and the ITR to prove that the usc is not married to anyone in the US..

CFO only asks for proof of singleness without even saying they are looking for a cenomar or ITR.. then the others would wonder wth is it?

there's even no proof of singleness in the US but PH has...and that is CENOMAr..

it's up to the others now if they want to get this or not. im not forcing anyone to get this if u think it is not necessary.. :)
