It means they've been sent to the NVC -- not that they've been received or a case number has been assigned, just that USCIS has shipped them out.

Thank you :)

Just like with the bogus transfer notices, sometimes the status messages online give inaccurate information. Most likely they've shipped or are preparing to ship your case to NVC, and those movements triggered a change in status. It doesn't mean your case is actually back in initial review. Call USCIS on Monday to ask them if your petition has physically left the building yet.

ROC Timeline

04/06/2016 - Mailed I-751

04/07/2016 - NOA1

04/13/2016 - Check cashed

04/14/2016 - NOA1 hardcopy

05/04/2016 - Received biometric notice

05/16/2016 - Biometrics appointment

05/17/2017 - Approved

05/22/2017 - Card in Production

05/25/2017 - Card Mailed

I was able to put in a service request online for my I-129F for "beyond processing time".

Today marks 6 months and 1 day after NOA1.

I already had a Tier 2 put in a service request for my I-129F last week, but I did not get an answer yet.

I hope teh latest e-request will shed some light on my petitions.

Would be nice if they started doing K3 process again. If no, Im asking myself are we heading to another backlog - NVC. Is it possible? I dont know how the system there is working but waiting too long for a NVC number isnt some another "backlog"?
