hello there,

we have been told that our case is complete at the NVC. But there was also an RFE regarding one question in the I-864.huh.png

when v called,we were asked to carry it to the interview along with my husbands proof of citizenship.

IS THERE anyone who was told the same or already went thru the interview after that?

Would like to know what should be anticipated?huh.png

vj terminology to know

NOA = notice of action :P

ISO = immigration service officer

NBC = (same as MSC)national benefits center

RFE = request for evidence

It's possible. It's a good idea for the beneficiary to carry the entire packet (petition to IV to AOS plus evidence) to the interview as well so eliminate problems if something was lost etc..

My friend was advised the same. She's in the F2A category (Spouse of LPR).

She received an email from NVC stating that her case is already complete BUT she was given a long checklist for AOS docs. She was instructed to bring the AOS docs to her interview.

oh i see... am pretty worried thinking what would they have to say when we give them the docs at the consulate.

if they had finished all these at the stage f NVC we would just need to be prepared for the intrvw and would be much more relaxed.huh.png
