I mailed the response to our RFE on January 6. It was delivered on Janury 10. On March 3 we received a text/email notification that production of the card was ordered. We received a text/email on March 6 to say that the card had been mailed. Both the approval letter and the card arrived in the mail today.

*sigh* one RFE, one interview later (not Stokes), got no news.... Most of September 2013 also have got their cards too. Still waiting. After the interview they said in 1 month (this was in January 2014) we'll get a letter but it's been at least 4 months since she said that.

I filed my I-751 at the end of August 2013 and NOA was dated Sep 2013. I did fingerprint and in October, I got two notices, one saying my file was transferred to a local office and another saying transferred to a USCIS office.

I haven't heard from USCIS since then and I called NCS a couple times. They couldnt locate my file either. Until earlier, I sent an e-request to follow up on my case status inquiry and i got a response saying my file just got transferred to my district office. Wasn't it transferred to my local office like over 7 months ago? Does it mean they totally forgot about my case?

How long should I expect to get a notice, either for RFE or interview, from the local office? I'm just sick of waiting and wanna get it done.

So I got two letters that sound like the ones you're describing. The first one I got was dated a little over a month after I filled - form I-797C Notice of Action, looks like more of a form than a letter, saying "This is to notify you that we have transferred the above application or petition to the USCIS office at: (Cali Service Center address), and the other letter (which looks like an actual letter) was received 4 months later, saying "This letter is in reference to you Form I-751... This is to notify you that your petition has been relocated to the USCIS Field Office listed below for adjudication."

Both of these have the same EAC number on them, and when I track it, it says "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status."

However, on my Bio letter (which looks just like the form about transferring to CSC office) it has a different EAC number to the other two letters. Look at your bio letter - is it different on yours too?

The EAC number on the receipt saying they extended my status can't be tracked. The EAC number on my bio letter says my case was transferred to a USCIS office. But I can't remember which number was on the transferring notice. I guess it should be the same one a on the bio letter.
