Hello

I just receive letter from USCS that they transfer my case to the USCIS Field office for adjudication… and they scheduling interview…. they will send me interview notice later….

When you appear for the interview , you must bring this notice and your appointment notice ,along with evidence to establish that marriage through which you gained your conditional residence status was entered into in good faith. This evidence may include, but is not limited to ………..

Why they giving me interview right away…. I thought that if the case is not strong enough they will just send RFE...

PLEASE help me..

Hi aidore

I am not sure why you are being scheduled for an interview. My suggestion would be to wait for the interview appointment letter and meanwhile start gathering evidence that proves the legitimacy of your marriage ( the same way you did when you submitted the removal of condition packet)

Our case was transferred and approved by the local office. I hope that this is the situation with your case

Please post the exact content of your letter, in order for any of us to give you an educated opinion

Best of luck

They need to certain amount of interviews (or rather percentage) - so it may have nothing to do with case being strong or not. What do you expect help with ? You need to show up on the interview with all supporting docs. That's it.

I agree. There is no reason to panic just because one is called for an interview. Please take copies of all the submitted evidence and new supporting documents, if any. Of course both the spouses need to attend the interview. Search and look at some of the old threads for generally asked questions at interview and prepare with your specific answers and it will help a lot.

For a lot of people, this journey can be very stressful so it's ok to freak out a bit - there is nothing wrong. So let's try to be a bit more understanding.

With that said, to the following post, I have read on this forum that some people get interviews without an RFE and it may be because they select random applicants for interviews as part of quality control. Because of the sheer volume of applicants for ROC they expect that all marriage are legit and people should not have a problem proving it thus only require documented evidence as a method for approving ROCs. But every now and then they would use the interview method. I see it like how the airport security will select a percentage of passengers to do a full inspection. However, I don't have hard facts to back this up so this all just speculation.

If you have a legit marriage, there is nothing to worry about. Just show up, armed with every single piece of evidence you had provided plus more, make sure you guys know everything about each other and go and get that thing approved :)

Good luck!

ROC Journey:

4/24/13 - Submitted I-751 application

4/26/13 - I-751 officially filed

6/11/13 - Biometrics done

8/14/13 - Rec'd RFE

9/21/13 - Submitted RFE response

9/23/13 - RFE response rec'd at VSC

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

Possible but can't be sure. You can always send additional evidence along with a copy of your NOA1. Hopefully they will review these by interview time - also take all copies to interview.

You can always send stuff but you hopefully you don't expect they're going to cancel interview because of that ? It's unavoidable at this point. Why are you trying to avoid it so hard ? Look at the other month topics - people do get interviews there.
