Hello, yeah i got biometrics appointment letter last Saturday for 9/25/2013 but no NOA yet lol I know right? Ok I called USCIS and the person I spoke to told me it was not the best idea to do an early walk in because it may happen that on your actual appointment date you could be mark as a no show so I decided not to try it at all... The appointment letter I believe it's an NOA it self it's still a I 797 so I really don't worry that much about the extension letter (NOA) because it means the case it's been process and all so I'm just gonna do the biometrics and then call to request the letter, my GC expires on nov 9 so that still gives me time to maybe I don't know get approve before the time it's up... Ill keep you posted, good luck to us all, suerte y saludos

Finally! I just received my NOA1... receipt date Aug. 29, 2013... dancin5hr.gif How long does it usually take to receive the biometric appointment letter? Thanks!

In another week to 10 day you may get it but it really depends on the business of the local office where it will be scheduled.

I called 1-800-375-5283 and it stated that the case was transferred to Local Office at St. Albans, Vermont. However based on HS2 case, I am of the opinion that we will get to know the correct details only after we get an NOA.

My case is also transferred.

11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Thanks NAVYK. I guess, you are right... My receipt number start with WAC... W stand for Westcoast? My receipt date is Aug. 29, 2013.
